Nazareno Allende the music that was being created during the time of the Vietnam war would be considered by many as classics; Hendrix, The Doors, The Who, etc.
+Olivia Cooley The war of 1812 is a good one that no one talks about. The U.S. invaded Canada, and Britain burned down the White House, and we got a cool song out of it!
As an Argentinian i can't find truth offensive. I love Ricky's humour, and can't diss on the guy cause he wasn't cruel about it either. I laughed my ass off. No more irrational hate between human beings please.
+NahuBJJ Back? The island never belonged to Argentina, you have nothing to do with it. It was discovered by French and British colonists and completely uninhabited before they got there. Argentina has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
+Diego Elias The fact you are aware and conscious of that feeling is hardest part. It means you can start to work through the emotions and look at the subject objectively. Which could end up being inline with your patriotism but that would just be a councidence.
As argentinian I found this extremely funny! It hurts a little knowing that we had a horrible dictatorship that puts the country in that awful and unnecesary war; but it's a relief that we can laugh of it!
@@peterpferdproductions1043 Your country knows a little about recovery after awful times! 😏 That was also a sad moment in the history of our country! But it is in the past! That why I laugh about it!
The war wasn't necessary but the invasion was. El dictador necesitaba haber ofrecido condiciones de paz antes de que llegaran los británicos y luego se fue con honor pero con claras intenciones de hacer saber al mundo que las Malvinas no son olvidadas y legítimamente reclamadas por la Argentina.
It has to be like that, like it or not. Otherwise, where would be the limit? And who would draw that? Who would say where? Imo more problems than good.. Have to remember, it is comedy. It is to make fun. Words do not harm, it is all on the listener this one.. Fine, one gets offended. So what? His/hers problem. Everything has to be open. Then it is judged by who can and who cant. Them who can, people go see. Them who cant.. well soon enough they are out. Problem solved.
@@monarchistheadcrab8819 marko is a common name in ex- yugoslav countries lmao, as someone from the balkans let me tell you 70% of the men here are named marko
@@MrAaronvee I bet Ricky has some great jokes about both of those topics. He can joke about anything. He is really damn funny. That's why I hold him in such high regard.
Gervais really is one of the most brilliant comedians of our time. From large works like The Office to lesser known productions (especially in America) like An Idiot Abroad and all of the hours of recorded podcast material he has with Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington. The cosmos was aligned perfectly the day Ricky Gervais met Karl Pilkington. Ricky knew the lightning in a bottle he had found with Karl and had the producing connection to bring Karl from out of his home doing DIY and to the public eye. Then there’s Ricky’s more philosophical works like The Invention of Lying. He was brought up in poverty and has made his legacy in the form of millions in donations to various charities, but his more impressive contribution that has reached far more people has been the priceless gift of laughter that will continue to give long after he’s gone. And he does it all while being an offensive ass or an immature child. Absolutely brilliant. And much of it stemmed from a rule he shared with his brother which was more or less to the effect of, “If you think of something funny, you have to say it.” He knows there a huge difference between doing or saying something horrible and making a joke about something that’s horrible. That’s an area many comedians are scared to navigate for fear of backlash, but in all the time I’ve been following him, he’s never deviated from the rule he shared with his brother.
I just clicked cuz it had Hawking cappin' off war and racism. Like, what will he say and in what way in order for this type of magnitude to escalate???
Charlie Kawaii if argentina and it's people just respect and accept that peaceful innocent people live on the islands its problem solved. the uk never wanted war, they even took a nuclear bomber and used normal bombs instead of nuclear ones, that says alot really. if they wanted to they could have just flown to Argentina and nuked it lol
Lewis Pollard Dude i know what happened i'm not complaing. But there's a lot of stuff that you don't mention in your comment: such as at the time we were suffering a military dictatorship and they were losing power, and people were beginning to rebel against that goverment so they use the war to appeal to the argentinian pride (or some bullshit like that). And then to the war who they sent: 18 year olds who never use a gun before. And what it's worse the guns didnt even worked, or the airplaines. So all i'm i saying is don't fucking talk if you don't all the sides of the story.
Bilal khalid mirza Because in that war, (the people who were in charge of argentina: a military dictatorship) send 18 year olds to fight with guns and airplaines that didn't work. So if something like that happens in a war that your country goes, well you end up pretty fucking "cross".
Charlie Kawaii im well aware. i doubt your current president is any better, all politicians and dictators are the same. either way it's down to the people of argentina to stop it from happening a 2nd time. next time won't just end with retaking the falklands, the usa and nato will even get involved so yeah it would be the end of argentina. the uk can do it alone but it's duty of nato members to protect other members. fingers crossed it doesn't happen and everyone is allowed to live in peace. the same happened in Germany when the nazis forced germans to fight (always vote anti establishment!)
Steven Hawking was an idea not a person. He died within 4 years of being diagnosed with ALS, like everyone else who's been diagnosed with it. If you disagree then explain how he's the only person in history to have lived with a disease that kills people in 2-5 years for 40 years. Also he came up with Edgar Allan Poe's big bang theory after he had no means of communication. Just some guy interpreted his grunts. It was like watching Lassie when her owners interpreted her barks for Timmy fell down the well.
He's such a lovely guy... the morality in his jokes beams through...even off camera he has been very vocal about animal rights- great future ahead for this one!
@@tsuumee4545: usually when people say rest in peace, they are talking about a conscious soul resting in peace. according to Hawking, he has no afterlife. his body may be resting in peace, but he has no afterlife.
This guy is so good at takeing it just over the edge and then bringing it back. This is absolute genise.,this guy so talented i watched the series he did on his dead partner, one minute i was laughing the next i had tears in my eyes. How many wrighters have this sort of skill.none hope to see more of rickies work in the future.evan the americans are starting to get it. And if he can teach idiots to laugh! !!!!
