We made it!!! Ngl Ricky turned me off in season 2 so that was the only reason I wanted my girl Gina to be with someone “more mature”. But no the Rina chemistry was from day dot !!

Everything makes soooo much sense when you put it all together. You can tell the writers had plans to make them endgame all along, there were so many hints sprinkled throughout. THIS is how you write a successful slow burn
When you put everything together you realize they ARE the main ship of this series. Like, if they were not meant to be then why drag out their storyline throughout 3 seasons? Like, when S1 ended I was pissed because I thought "here goes Disney again teasing us with one SPECTACULAR LEFT FIELD SHIP and yet we got the expected" but boy, OH BOY HAD I KNOWN WHAT WAS COMING
@@kezyapineda3256 I actually think the way the writers did it makes a lot of sense. Nini was Ricky's safety blanked, she was the safe option where he didn't had to face any change, once he had chosen to be with her again. But there were A LOT of moments where you could see that both of them moved on from their relationship and Ricky was more in love with the memory than with Nini itself. He backed out of pursuing Gina because it meant leaving his comfort zone in season 1 and 2, even though their moments were much more genuine and real, which made it scary for him. Once he and Nini broke up he grew in a way that made him feel more free and accepting to actual change in his life. S3 Ricky was the best Ricky we've seen so far and it was nice to see him as a supportive and selfless friend to Gina. The writers did make one mistake imo and that was the realtionship with EJ. It was rushed and felt out of place since it came out of nowhere. They should have been just friends.
@@19Rena96 I think EJ and Gina's relationship being rushed and out of place was intended. It would've made less sense for them to break up and not work for each other if we had seen a build up and genuine chemistry in prior seasons.
@@bryannag2093 the showrunner of hsmtmts confirmed they’ve been planning towards Rina since s1ep5, and that Nini was never suppose to be Ricky’s endgame
@@bryannag2093 the writers and Tim Federle (the showrunner) did an in-depth, great job. Ricky’s fear of change and Nini seeing herself in boys’ eyes is shown throughout seasons 1 and 2. Ricky’s attachment to Nini came from her being the only thing that hadn’t change is his life, and Nini felt safe with Ricky, but never truly doing and being who she wants to be. “ A false fantasy” as Tim puts it And Gina stands for the only change that Ricky wants and truly accepts, and Ricky stands for the stability that Gina has never had, the “yes” instead of the “maybe” There’s a reason as to why so many people were able to predict moments and their reasons before episodes came out
We all knew this was gonna happen, let's be real. Too many signs towards it. Plus they both get each other and feel like they can truly be themselves around each other.
Honestly EJ calling Ricky his brother makes me so happy/sad. It’s like EJ is kinda acknowledging that even though Ricky ends up dating both of his ex gf’s, it’s EJ’s actions that kinda causes that, and that’s why he’s not mad at Ricky. Ricky was there when EJ wasn’t for both Nini and Gina. Neither Nini or Gina broke up with EJ for Ricky. They broke up with him cause of the things he’s done/kept from them. I wish EJ happiness next season. He just needs to mature more emotionally before he gets into a relationship.
@@beauty1230 I’m saying that EJ’s relationships with both Gina and Nini ended for the same reason, he kept secrets. And there were times when EJ couldn’t be there. And yes, Gina had every right to be upset that EJ was literally ignoring her.

LITERALLY. this show needs to end with them being together. Waiting 3 seasons for them to get together just for them to break up would actually break my soul.
You went out and beyond with this video from seasons 1, 2, and 3 with Ricky and Gina (Rina) and of course, I can't wait for season 4 when they start dating just saying Rina is so perfect together.
please make a new version with season 4 🥺 and possibly include their first meeting at the stairwell added onto season 1, it’d be cool to see it all as one continuous story
at the start of season 3 its kind of like they switched roles because gina in season 1 2 was kind of like the one "in love" while Ricky was still kind of in love with Nini season 3 Gina was in love with EJ and Ricky was the one in love with Gina
I decided to come re watch this video as I am really looking forward to and wanting to see so much more Rina in season 4 I am hoping they can be endgame at the end of the final season 4 I feel Ricky needs a happy ending Ricky really reminds me of me way back then when I wasn't very into obsessed with musicals past far old me. Same goes for another favorite of mine Big Red. I know I really love this season 1 talk of their's Big Red: We hate musicals Ricky I don't hate musicals I just think it's weird when people sing and dance in the streets. Big Red: Dude that's a musical. I am not feeling ready for this show to end I really look forward to watching season 4 but I am not ready for it to end. Ricky is a very favorite brother of mine to me.
Showrunners has hinted towards it. They noticed something was there since Homecoming episode in S1. It's been a slow build up but one that was done in the right way.
I love gina but It annoys me how they have changed her fashion style. She used to be a cool street wear girlie and they could have leaned further into that matching current strearwear trends but they didn't
I mean, it kind of makes sense with her character progression. She wore streetwear when she was more cutthroat and stand-offish, then in season 2 I can’t really remember much of what she wore but in s3 she started wearing more romantic silhouettes and colors because of her first romance and stuff
Thats really weird to say but anyways the actress, Sofia Wylie, has said before her skin gets lighter easily. It's a thing that happens with people and it's completely normal🤷happens to me
No creo que arruine la serie. Para mi siento que son la pareja ideal. A mi me gustaba Ricky y nini juntos pero siento que Ricky se aferró a nini y por eso al final terminaron. Pero vi como crecieron como persona Ricky y Gina y se parecen en el personaje iguales. Ellos dos desde el principio sentí que iban a quedar juntos. Sorry no se como explicarlo muy bien en español.. es mi segundo lenguaje 😅😅
