The WDR BIG BAND plays together with Ricky Peterson (Hammond organ) "Sexy M. F.", composed by Prince / A. Mosley / L. jr. Seacer. Chief conductor Bob Mintzer arranged the piece of music for the WDR BIG BAND. Other musical guests include Paul Peterson on electric bass, Bruno Mueller on guitar and Gene Lake on drums. Solos are played by Ricky Peterson on Hammond, Paul Peterson on electric bass, Bruno Müller on guitar and Gene Lake on drums. Recorded live in concert "Groovin' Organ" on September 30, 2017 at the Kölner Philharmonie.

As an avid fan of WDR, I am so appreciative of the fact that WDR is becoming even more famous, worldwide, through the wonderful service known as RU-vid. And anyone reading this comment, the best thing you can do is subscribe to RU-vid Red and enjoy it even more. The quality of the WDR captures is beyond excellent, and higher end cans or good speakers are wonderful for listening to this band. Everyone has their favorites, of course, but the Shure 840's are highly compatible for WDR recordings on RU-vid.

Hi Gustavo! Wwe had a Prince project planned for the beginning of February, but unfortunately now had to postpone it until next season because of Corona...so, stay tuned:)

Love Ricky Peterson, but he forgot the most important part of the song: the vocals! Should have punctuated it with a collective band a capella chant: "You sexy m...!".
