Yeah if your boat is big enough for a group expect used $40k up front and $40k a year. Or pay $80k up front and $35k a a year. It's the fastest way to lose money other than buying an airplane or buying an airline
My English to Rosco translation dictionary tells me that’s exactly what Roscoe said. Another translation: Boats are holes in the water you throw money into.
Lol, dude you can't talk about boats without saying the motto "Break out another thousand". A boat is just a hole in the water you throw money into while a swimming pool is a hole in the ground you throw money into. Glad Roscoe teaching these younglings.
My Ex God rest his soul loved boats and he loves money,so he became a boat mechanic so he could be around boats make money and even support having his own boat by being able to tow people in when their boat died in the water!
@@steveclark9488 lmao my manager is part of some Jeep club. She got a decked out green Jeep with neon lights and 1000 rubber ducks on the dash. I am going to have to ask if she heard of that
@@nimbysep7602 I have a very close friend who did the same and I'm imagining they would of probably been very relatable. Couldn't imagine losing him as a friend so I feel even worse for you dear. God bless you both.
Just like a greedy 18 wheeler.. those things can atleast make you little money every now and then, but you can't get no hoaz other than a lot lizard 🦎 from time to time, well I guess that's something..
My moms boyfriend's always said bust out another thousand, they never had running boats, one even sold the trailer and the boat is still sitting in his lawn.
Repairs? Hell it costs that much to do scheduled maintenance! And fuel? You've got to buy gas with no ethanol OR diesel depending on your engine type. That stuff's almost a whole $1 more than the stuff you put in your truck.
Being the the owner of multiple boats, I can say with confidence that a boat is nothing more than a hole in the water that you try to fill up with money.
That is the perfect boat advice. If you can not just had over 1k to a random person without even thinking about it, you are not ready for a boat. 100% accurate. I live on the coast, look at my pic. I have owned many boats.
@@7F0X7 B.O.A.T = Bust out another thousand. Anything that goes wrong on a boat cost over 1,000 dollars to fix. so just have 1k ready at all times to keep it in the water.
I think ricky needs one of those big sportfish boats like a 50 ft viking or such big twin diesels got a galley, head and a place to put his head and entertain his "hoes" lol.... Tight lines yall 🎣
A buddy of mine rides with you guys every once in awhile. Said you have some nice toys. Ricky must be paying well. 😂 thanks for all the entertainment. Keep it coming.
Made me think of the clip where a kid told his dad he was getting married and the dad said you better apologize to me. The kids like no I'm not apologizing for nothing. Then the dad said well you better cancel the wedding cause unless you can apologize for no reason your not ready to be married. 😂
He is 100% correct. I only had 3 before I learned my lesson. Someone else's boat is always a better time. And best of all you can always drink beer and not worry about it
When i was 4 i asked my future brother in law What is a boat? He pointed to his boat and said. "That is an aquatic hole in my wallet, you see for every hour i stay afloat i lose a paycheck."
The best days of boat ownership is when you first buy it and when you sell it. As a boat owner it is true... Expenses for it every year for maintenance, random stuff that needs to be repaired or replaced, and then all the accessories that you dont really need but are nice to have and add onto it...
Lol that's real, every yr when I put my boat away for winter it was running like a top no issues. Sits 3 mos , needs a $1000 worth of service done to it...
