You’re not allowed to say anything if you’re about to get a JV4, it’s a universal rule and I’m sure they learnt. You say one thing or even smile and you get hit.
@@CozyDawg03 ESAM did the same combo's right after launch. EWGF's are hard but the hitstun is so big it's actually much more lenient than some other combo's in this game
@@CozyDawg03 It's impressive for sure, any JV4 is impressive, even if you only have to find one opening and then execute perfectly. It's more impressive imo if there are resets in between where either through coverage or reads the combo gets extended in a clever way
Okay obviously the mewtwo was throwing holding forward with aerials but the fact that everything after the hit on shield was true and easy on the big hurtbox is crazy, it really only takes 3 mistakes per game
Proper SDI can actually fuck the Kaz player up a lot, but most people don't know how to do that properly. Nairo apperantly does if you watch the Nairo Riddles offline stream, lol.
@StealthKey hitstun is the period of time after a move connects during which the character in disadvantage is non-actionable; the last frame of hitstun is the frame directly before you become actionable. hitstop/hitlag is the period of time during which the game freezes to highlight and accentuate the impact of a move; the final frame of hitlag is the frame directly before the first frame of hitstun. SDI is only possible during hitlag, and has the effect of shifting the position of your hurtbox slightly in the direction SDI is input. [confusingly, the game's english localisation refers to SDI as hitstun shuffling] kazuya's moves apply no hitlag (as it is entirely absent from the tekken series) and therefore cannot be SDI'd you can DI, but not on reaction. because there's no hitlag the window to *react* to a move connecting (and to input a direction *before* taking knockback and entering a tumble state) is entirely constrained to the move's start-up animation you are correct, however, that EWGF is the exception to the DI case, as you can DI on reaction
I played this guy yesterday and he played Sora and left after a best of 1 and gave me the "well played" after he beat me, so it is justice seeing he was met with this fate
