These are random shots taken with my G10 on my ride to Davenport IA...... then to Milwaukee WI.... then The Country Mile around Lake Michigan. September 2009 Music by the Black Angels..... Young Men Dead
I've been riding with a club for 30 years and at one time we rode choppers, then Superglides, then Softails and now we're Arthritic old dudes in our 60s ridin touring bikes and three wheelers. Not bitchin though.still having a blast on my Freewheeler. You don't stop riding when you GET OLD..you get old when you STOP RIDING.

Taking me back to the good old days!!! We road hard, and helped each other on breakdowns. Oil, grease, and tools! No phone or trailer. “Rico” from Arizona 😎🌴🌵
Love this video. Reminds me of when I was a young guy and makes me want to get rid of all the garbage that owns me now and be free again. Still have and ride my rigid shovel...
Thanks for sharing! In 2008 I rode from LA to DC. 2 months after I got back I was diagnosed with cancer. Now a survivor, seeing your video inspires me to sell everything and hit the road. AGAIN
Outstanding vid, Im an old code rider. Over for decades if you dont get it you never will. Started out on an ole knuck, have had em all (big twins). Thank you Josh!
Choppers aren't my thing ..........but.........this film so catches the whole spirit of biking. A road trip is where you find your real friends. Brilliant work and a great soundtrack.Thanks.
2013 and I still come back to check this video from time to time. Really cool vibe and great shots. I use this video as a base for the ones I've done on my rides with my brothers and don't think I've really captured what you did in yours. Great video.
This is where its at, forget the tin tops and all that BS.. Thank you Black Angels. Bought a 2014.5 Low Rider and im going to ride it until the wheels fall of...
Duke, enjoy it Bro. No matter what they build or what I ride, I will never forget my first Super-Glide. Glad they brought it back ! I just might have to get one myself.
You would be surprised at just how many folks are kind. I traveled 1100 miles in four days this summer. Never met anyone who was rude. Never had anything stolen. We went south from jersey to maryland to south va and up to the at to do some hiking. In the mountains where no one could see us and it would have been easy to steal (or do worse things) we found other hikers, bikers, and people in general went out of their way to help us.
You owe it to yourself to make at least one LONG RIDE in your life. Some do it every year, while others only dream. I did a solo trip in 2009 from San Diego, down through New Orleans, and up to Virginia, and then straight across back to Cali passing through Frisco, down the PCH, back to SD. 20 states and 7740 miles; without a single issue. No GPS, no map, no drama. All I had was just a .45, cash (to keep the wife from tracking my every transaction), and a cardinal heading to ride east/westward.
I do it every year! The best one I did was from CFB Esquimalt thru Idaho, Montana and down thru the high desert of Nevada. Awesome trip riding 10 hours a day met great folks and I too ate some amazing Mexican food! LOL, I froze one night in the desert though!! Thanx for the memories!!
Great shit, keepin it very real . . . . your stuff always has the resonance of honesty and a complete absence of commercialism, DO NOT CHANGE A THING !!!!
Man I wish I had that freedom. But with the responsibility of my family, I am a slave, chained to the grind. More power to you bruh. If I can't have it I'm glad some people can.
Here again, by the way the HBO series True Detective just used this track for the 1st show in their series and in some commercials. pretty sick, ride on brothers, I will see you on the the hwys n bywys come springtime.
