Vajinder Taak Thanks for watching. So the most important thing about riding in the rain is going to be getting proper rain gear. It important to stay dry, because you can focus on avoiding all the things you mentioned instead of focusing on how wet and uncomfortable you are. As far as riding goes, try to stick to the middle of the road to avoid standing water on the edges. Standing water isn't fun, but can usually be avoided. Watch out for slippery surfaces, but if you're aware of them and give the bike very gentle inputs and don't lean much, you should be ok. If you see a lot of leaves in a corner, just stick your foot out like a dirt track rider and you can kick your bike back up if it starts to slide. Overall, just be careful and you should be fine. Most of the time rain is annoying more than anything, and that's usually because I didn't wear my rain gear when I should have. I posted the gear I use below. I'm not sure if you still care 3 years later Wesker, but for me I have a microfiber cloth in the trunk of my bike and I always wipe it once parked.

+sql-lover I'm more careful, but I haven't run into any issues so far. Definitely not my favorite riding weather.

Kristian Baraldi It was the fast charger provided by Samsung with the phone. I actually just spoke with T-Mobile today and they're going to replace it because of this issue and because the LED camera flash is stuck on all the time. We'll see if the new one is better.

Ben Messer Thanks for the suggestion man. I actually already follow that sub pretty regularly, its great. Be sure to check out the new Material theme if you haven't. I think I may have my issues finally resolved. They exchanged my device and its way better. Apparently the old one just scanned for cell signal 24/7 and it nuked itself.
