This channel is dedicated to my personal hobbies. It will probably mostly be related to my Ducati and other bikes I happen to ride. I'll also review gear and throw in some other random topics.
Here's a description of all of the gear a use, with links to purchase anything down below:
The marshal wasn't even looking in the direction of the crash ffs. It's like the marshall (wrongfully) assumed that the crash happened because you rammed the other car. No yellow flag, no warning to you, and then they kick you out? Yeah, show this video to management and get a refund, you did nothing wrong.
Terrible driver in front of you. He heard you gaining so he tried harder not to get passed. And that’s most likely what made him crash 💥 You were not at fault
I don’t get it! You had no time to avoid so why were you kicked out? It’s not like you rammed the other guy and caused the incident. What was their justification? Not that it matters, I’d recommend people not bother with that place.
The guy that shoulf of been watching the chap spin, was watching you aporoach. You had no chance, as you was commited to the corner when the chap spun out of sight. Marshal fail here.
Looked to me that column with the tyres on it was a pretty decent blind spot and this was just a racing accident. They could kick the column out but the building would fall down.
Yeah nothing I have not seen at a karting track a million times before. If the accident was serious the marshall should have waved the yellow flag you come around the corner and not much you could do. bullshit from K1 kicking you out for that.
coming off a speed triple because i want something less psycho.would you recommend the 797 or will i get too bored and wish i had more grunt as in the 821? thankyou nice review.
different type of bike in a way, I have ridden the Speed Triple ( an 07 left over in 2008 and yes it was a sledge hammer of a bike ( yet still handled and rode extremely well). The smaller Street Triple R ( a 2012) felt like a 100 horsepower racing bicycle with actual brakes ...more fun than anything I rode until that point but a bit too " light feeling" on the terrible pavement where I live. The 821 is probably a decent choice. The 797, while it is undeniably a pretty bike, it won't be something to stick with, I really liked the 821 I rode. While not as lithe as the Street Triple, it's a very entertaining bike and it;s very visceral. If you are looking for a refined bike, choose a CB1000R or a Ninja 1000SX or something Japanese. I myself prefer to feel like riding a machine rather than something like that. In a perfect world I would have a few different bikes and cars.... Have to say that I am not a fan of the new 937. for now I just don't like it. I will be looking for another 821
cant believe they kicked you out lol just goes to show gas karting facilities are cooler than electric... the guy you hit was in the blindspot behind the pole when he crashed so that was just an unlucky racing incident for you
Last week, at the Toronto location, I’d gone wide through a hairpin after the long straight+ fast right hander to pass a car that was on a different line…once I passed, the slower car apparently tboned me at high speed, he didn’t get kicked, Marshall saw me shake it off and drive off, gave the guy a stern talking to, and that’s it. How you could have avoided that accident is beyond me. You should have shouted : MICHAEL, IT’S NOT RIGHT!
The DBs who work in places like this are beta punks who wouldn't DARE tell you what to do in a one-on-one man-to-man situation. Chances are they're in college studying either transgender ideology or innovative environmental alarmism.
it seems like k1 tends to have less than great marshaling at some locations. i had an experience recently in denver where someone two karts ahead of me was going slowly and got a blue flag, let the person directly behind get half a kart length ahead, then overtake them and ignore persistent blue flags and pit signs. didn’t get a black flag even though they directly ignored the stewards and the basic rules of racing.
really late but I got in a big hit with a lady who spun out in front of me on a full speed corner. no time to react and I thought I broke a rib for a second. my kart turned off so an official ran over to help me and turn it on but the karts were stopped for a good minute. the race resumed but my kart wasn’t moving and I got hit full speed from behind and again thought I broke all my ribs. ran over again with the race stopped for 2 minutes until he managed to get my kart working again. man didn’t see any of it go down but still kick me off. sorry man that was a rough call
wait i dont understand why he was kicked out.at that speed these kinda things can happen.i wonder if any kind of bumping is allowed.if not then its not real racing.real racing that kinda stuff happens to a degree to get around another driver.i also didnt see much sliding in the curves.this means even more so some bumping would be required.
I watched it twice and there was nothing you could have done to avoid that collision. Even if the guy had waved the flag at the moment of spin, you didn't have enough time to react
You should name the place where this happened, people need to watch out for guys like this. The way I see it, it happened fast, with hardly no time to react and yet they kick you out perhaps to make them selfs look good or cover there ass.
