You've nearly caught my rating up in last couple of month, I don't really study openings, I don't play much. We all miss things, but you can improve if you look harder about what they are doing, it will cut your blunders and mistakes.
This second game really wasn’t so bad. It was a very strange and unfamiliar position which are always tough to play in short time controls. You were even and actually had a lot of good prospects on the queen side even after dropping the exchange. Very normal to burn time like this when things are so wild. I think your takeaway from the analysis about just playing normal developing moves and central pawn control in the opening is the important thing.
i feel like you think too much about move that you won't play, like when they double up their rook to threaten taking your bishop, intead of just putting it to a safe square without much thinking you spent minutes looking for tactics, also its good to pay attention to your opponent's clock because you dont want to fall to far behind, especially when you're in a losing position
He overthinks meaningless situations and under thinks important situations. He also has developed the habit of expecting the worst move from the opponent instead of the best. His actual rating is about 200-500 and I do not see him improving...
@@slipperybone Yes and it does become annoying at some point. He seems like a decent guy but he has been playing for far too log to keep making the same mistakes OVER AND OVER. The basic principles of chess can be learned in a day and from then it is a matter of practice and memory. He still does not know the basic principles...
@@Karadjanovhes actually improving, chill. he went up to 1300 elo and while i do agree that he overthinks and underthinks, no need to be harsh. eitherway, he is improving
@@floof6896 I am not being harsh I am just realistic. He does not learn from his mistakes. He seems like a great guy and will probably have a great life but he has no future in chess even at a mediocre level.
