Don’t you miss the goldwing? i am contemplating to trade in my 23 RGS on a new wing…your thoughts know this? i do a lot of 2 up riding every weekend and the occasional commute,

I certainly do miss the Goldwing. The bike was 95% perfect to me. The thing that I like on cars and motorcycles are electrical gadgets. I got tired of the Goldwing not having a touchscreen and for me the touchscreen means more than the perfect riding I sold it in hopes that the 2024 will come with a touchscreen and or some other improvements or a new design. However, the Honda going has remained the same for many years. I plan on buying another one at some point whenever there is some modifications and changes made that are significantly different improvement wise than the older models, once I had mine, I realize that I could’ve bought one 2 to 4 years older and it still would’ve been the same exact bike. It still would’ve rode perfectly as if it were brand new and it was no point in me buying a current model year, since the bikes are so reliable and smooth, the gold wing is definitely the best motorcycle on the road hands-down if Harley-Davidson wanted to put Honda Goldwing out of business, all they would have to do is take the same motorcycle build one with the touchscreen have it come with the DCT feature being fully automatic and just with the Harley brand-name alone and all the various locations that you can get service and still have that prestige of owning a Harley it would put Honda going out of business permanently I wish that Harley-Davidson® would make an automatic motorcycle like the DCT with the same features as the Goldwing, and it will be the best

@@ChrisGlides thanks for the honest reply Chris, there are some people that are only one brand loyal and will never admit if one bike is better thank others, ao I can respect your view, I recently sold my 21 Indian Challenger for my 23 Road Glide Special, and can just not get comfortable on the Harley, I have spent thousands on seats, bars, footboards, suspension etc. But just do not get the same comfortable ride as I had, so now that I have noticed the Goldwing with its DCT and apparent cloud like riding experience I might be heading that route, will be test riding a 23 Wing tour premium and 23 Bmw k1600gtl tomorrow, but thinking I might go for the wing, I do not need the speed or power any longer, I only want a comfortable ride for me and the missus, here in Australia Harley is not AS much represented as in the states so if I do go Honda then I should be ok, thanks again, will Keep you updated

@@ChrisGlides hi Chris, good to hear from you, yup I rode the K1600GTL and then the 23 Goldwing and ended up buying a brand new wing, the k1600 did not do it for me, it was top heavy and just felt wrong, it only used the bmw app for your phone so no carplay or android auto, it sure was quicker off the line but man oh man was the goldwing so much better, I love my newly acquired wing, so in the past 12 months I owned the a 2018 GXR1000R a 21 Challenger limited a 23 road glide special and now the Goldwing, I am sure I will be sticking around on the Goldwings for some time as I just love it, it does everything effortlessly, have an awesome day

@@PhantomRider-78 that’s great news. Thank you for confirming. I’m going to try and get my Goldwing back and do more research and reviews. It’s still where I traded it in at and HD owners won’t touch it for pride reasons. I’m not ashamed. The GW is the best bike hands down but I hate not having a touchscreen. Hope I can get my same bike back soon.
