Well done. This video of your experience in the rainy deluge reminds of a trip my cousin and I did in March 2012. It was during that really heavy flooding period in QLD and the rain we encountered was insane. Riding at speed along some unsealed roads, rain smashing us and close to dark to make it to Miriam Vale was quite the experience. I quit drinking 3 weeks later. Riding is great therapy. Take care and enjoy the ride. I'm sub 5 by the way.
G'day Sean first time I have ever put up any videos so thanks for jumping on board and the positive comments, was bloody nervous sharing this experience online. I have made it to Darwin and will put up the last 7 days riding, central QLD was insanely remote and the NT was a buzz. next leg across to Broome then Perth, cant wait. This is the best therapy for clearing the head space I have ever experienced!
@@TheIndianCrusader I'll be looking out for those upcoming videos. Your video quality, editing and composition is spot on. I mentioned that in the Day 5 video comments. I only found your channel this morning and now up to day 6. Cheers and thanks for posting. Sean.
Mate I’ve decided to go back to the beginning of the series and right now I’m at the 12 min mark of this vid. Western Sydney traffic (that’s every day on all motorways in Sydney) and rain (that every other day if not a week at a time). Like you said it’s f&#ked.
@@TheIndianCrusader I love that bridge. Every time we go north I go bridge and never the harbour tunnel. Our adult children say that dad always goes bridge. It’s special. At night it’s awesome. We travel to footy etc that takes us south of the harbour a lot so we go the bridge north often.
With experience comes safety,... On my second watch of your epic journey from day 1 whilst waiting for the next episode, Yep! It's that entertaining, Love It.
@@TheIndianCrusader Paul relax, If you put more than one episode out per week it will be expected of you all the time, we all know how much time goes into editing, Like the journey it self it's for your enjoyment as well, don't spoil a good thing, I've only been posting SHORTS for 11 months as a new hobby for fun and found it is slowly becoming addictive. "NOW WHAT CAN I FILM"
Those Average speed cameras in NSW are only for Trucks with Log Books! No need to worry, our speed cameras have to post a sign unlike your Nanny State! 😂
@TheHarleyRoadshow thanks Paul (I'm pretty sure that's your name). I've come across your channel a few times and loved the bakery tour! Good to hear from a fellow Victorian. Subscribed back brother ✌️
@@TheIndianCrusader we did an outback Australia trip in 2022 and absolutely copped it with rain as well as every other trip I seem to go on, it’s a bit of a theme
@TheHarleyRoadshow haha it's bloody magnificent here now.... heading south this week and not looking forward to Perth weather (cannot believe I'm saying this being from Geelong)
My girlfriend and I went on our first motorcycle camping holiday in 1979. We took three weeks from Denmark trough Germany, Schweiz and France to Monaco and back on my $1200 two stroke GT550 using paper maps. Our age was not half of this bloke but we brought our rain gear and packed our stuff in cheap plastic bags. I'm 66 years old and had a nice motorcycle holiday this summer camping in Osterode am Harz - even with 5 days out of 9 with rain. I don't find it interesting watching twats complaining about rain and "slippery roads", staying in luxury hotels and calling it an adventure or an expedition. Sorry. Have a nice holiday.
This warrants a response. lowering yourself to an insult (Twat) to someone you do not know at the age of 66, really? Secondly, complaining about conditions on this ride and staying in luxury hotels? You sir have this series very much confused. Furthermore, this 'nice holiday' has turned into a rider giving up his time, money and energy to now raising over $20,000 for Australians in need.
