Riding Broadford Racetrack with the California Superbike School 

I love riding the 2023, it's a brilliant bike especially for CSS coaching. Front end feels solid, steers very well and for a stock bike with standard exhaust it really has some power. I think the mods of my 2016 has ramped up the game on that old model and I do love riding it. But like you said, hard to compare the stock 2023 to the modified 2016. Now if I had the same mods on the 2023, hmmm, might be a different matter. The electronics seem to be really good on the new model but some of the components such as clutch levers and heel guards are pretty average. I'd still buy one.

@@TheBikeStig Thanks for the reply. My 2020 is the first and only RR I’ve ridden but I love it. I added the 2D sensor, RCS19 Corsa Corta MC and Brembo SR brake pads and now have the suspension setup just right. I mainly use it as a track bike at SMSP but can’t wait to try Phillip Island one day.

this was day one just working on some drills and finding lines on a track we (I should say I) have not ridden before.

nice, then go for it, takes a while but its worth the effort

@@NinjaKoalaAUTW good move, there are multiple things that get assessed and riding is obviously one of them, my advice is always to practice the drills as taught by CSS until they are second nature as that is the basis for everything at the school, coaches have to get that right.
