I started my day at the Buck Lake Conservation Area campsite and headed to Titusville to reach the beginning of the Coast-to-Coast Trail. The trail starts on the Merritt Island side at Parrish Park and will eventually extend to the coast. I rode the wildlife drive to see the birds and then returned to Titusville via the roads to secure a room for tonight. Tomorrow, I'm heading to Orlando Wetlands and will take the Cross Seminole Trail to Stafford.

Nice to see all your gear. Beautiful reflections on the water to start your day. Lots of bird sightings too. Great weather for your ride. Very nice. Have a great day.

Merritt Island is one of Florida's premier birding hotspots. Usually I go there by car but this time I rode my bike there, a different kind of experience. Thanks and have a great weekend 😊

Great trip Thomas! I grew up in Titusville so I not only enjoyed birding Blackpoint but even seeing Garden Street again! Thanks for the memories!!

I didn't know that I rode through Garden Street. Is that a special place in Titusville? By the way I didn't go to Blackpoint at this time, I rode the first wildlife viewing loop, it's a great place to see the birds.

Merritt Island has lots of them especially during the winter months. Do you live in Florida?

That is crazy how much stuff you fit in such a small area! Very nice trail! Hopefully, one day, they will continue building the trail. This is a nice park! Thanks for taking us with you! 🙂

All my stuff is lightweight and compact. I carry only things I need, basically the same setup if I go for a couple of days or couple of months.

Another fun adventure with Thomas! We love traveling all around with you. If only my knees could handle it, I would ride with you!

If you want to start riding then do little by little till you get used to it. It has great benefits physically and mentally

@@FollowThomas I used to ride a lot when I was younger but my bad knee can't handle it much anymore. I used to do bike tours in Ohio and Michigan. Most I ever did was like 40 miles in a day.

Merritt Island is such a beautiful place. I've actually been there before and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to see what the Orlando Wetlands look like in your next video

Like the way you make your films ! Interesting to see the stilt, i just filmed another stilt here: Black-winged Stilt....

Thank you! The next one is gonna be Orlando Wetlands, another interesting place to see lots of birds. Stilts are cool birds with long legs. Black-necked are only in North America, Black-winged are worldwide but looks like only Southern in parts in Europe. I'm gonna check out your Black-necked Stilt sighting 😊

Really enjoying your content. Rode portions of the C2C this past February. How do you find all of the campgrounds that you stayed at?
@FollowThomas
@FollowThomas 4 месяца назад
Thank you, I'm glad to hear that. C2C is great. This was my third time riding it. I did the all thing last month and finished it up now. Hopefully they finish up SR-50 road work by next year. Definitely wanna ride it again. Water districts recreational area primitive campsites are free and you can reserve them camplife.com Choose the region and open map view to see available sites.
