This is another example of how nice the trains in Japan. I was there in 2019 & 20 and will go back again so this time I will ride this one. I think Japan's railway system is one of the best in the world, very clean and 99% of the time is on time, hard to beat that record.
I'm paying my very first visit to Japan next springtime. If I get the chance during my 3 weeks there I'll try to take this train just for the novelty of it.

I can't lie - Japan has the Best trains. Also the best transportation by ferry boats/ships and commuter buses 🚌 . The innovation for commuter- travel is Unmatched !!! I think we can say the same about the country's overnight hotels.

Though not my appearance, but my heart does become younger after watching this video. To be more practical, my guess is that, this train gets a super nice rest room, which is a big plus for older people. Ha, Ha.

From what I've seen on YT, Japan has a number of 'different'-looking trains. This one is not really that odd. Heck, I'll still sure take it over the diesels that still dominate the USA!!

The train is very nice inside, lovely seats and big windows for good views ..... but the front looks VERY weird and doesn't look like a train at all. Call me 'old fashioned' but I prefer a more 'traditional' look.
