Actually, if you take the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung, you depart from Halim station and stop at Padalarang station. From Padalarang station, you change to a feeder train (green) if you want to go to the center of Bandung (ticket price is included). If you stop at the final station, Tegal Luar, you are too far from the center of Bandung.

actually they provide a feeder train from bandung city railway station to high speed train station in padalarang and IT IS FREE. one thing you have to consider is the timing. FROM HALIM jakarta there is LRT going to downtown jakarta, but if you carry a lot of stuff, that might be a big problem. Personally i think they do not need a first class for 30 mnts of journey, it is such a big waste if you compare to the china train which has a long distance journey. and we never know when this high speed project will extend to central java, no one knows, LOL
My brother,you can go to airport Soekarno Hatta with airport train..,you stop in Halim station..so continue in LRT station Halim to Dukuh atas station..ane move to BNI station to airport..
Dont recommend that... it is a waste of time. If you can afford taxis... it is faster during non-rush hour time. LRT is slow, and waiting time is not good. Not to mention the walks to BNI Station. And most of the time you still have to wait for 20-40 minutes for your train to arrive at BNI station. Airport train is awesome if you already settled in the middle of the city. But if you travel from the suburbia.. nahh, dont even think about it😂
Whoosh's first class does not use sleeper chairs like in China. Because the distance between Jakarta and Bandung is only 25-30 minutes. So our first class deliberately does not provide Sleeper Chairs & food is only bread & snacks Not heavy food
No wrong it is Bandung via Kertajati , Cirebon to Yogyakarta ( south bound ) then to Surabaya ( 350 km/hr) . Jakarta to Surabaya North Java is Jakarta - Cirebon - Semarang - Surabaya ( 250 km/hr)
