When I was like 12, I really wanted a dirt bike, but I couldn't afford anything. But I found a gs1000 at a garage sale for $90 with a blown engine. My friend fixed it and it was a burnt wire. So I learned how to ride on that and I bought some tires with a little traction and a siping tool. That was my trail bike for like 5 years until I tried to jump a 4 lane road and spent the summer in a body cast
@@MattSpears ....well I've got some GL1500 chrome mirror units but I don't think that will help much. Or some chrome gl1800 mirror trim which again probably wouldn't help much. Sorry :(
Loved it Matt, loved seeing shit fall apart from the fact it's a road bike cruiser, tried a trip years ago before RU-vid existed and I used a nh80k Honda scooter, well exhaust was 1st to snap off then guards flaring, then the floor panels travelled no further than 20 km Max
