You can tell Neil is a true friend to Blake, by the way he made sure to sit there and laugh at him for a good bit and make sure he got as much laughing and ridiculing out of the way before he decided to help. Good stuff!
I just went on a night ride, it makes everything so much more interesting. The black trails your bored of seem like a whole new trail. Also I find it makes climbing easier as you can’t see the top.
Just about 37 and 1/4 MI in the dark interesting I already noticed that one of you fell over in the ditch and from the looks of that small patch of video you did a OTB Marsh mud and gunk just from what it looks like on the aftermath Blake , Neil you two did a fantastic video and the crew did as well can't forget them
Was surprised to see MagicShine as your ad. I’ve had one for about 4 years and can’t fault it. Was a fraction of the cost of an exposure etc that were the rage back then.
I have he same light on my bike and let me tell you it is legit ! Well worth the money. Many of y friends have bought some cheap one on amazon and they do not compare.
The Elan is certainly a gem - I wasn't sure how this night ride was going to turn out but 14 minutes flew by as if I were on a youtube flow trail. Good going. Mark
Great Nightride content😄🤘👍Nightride mtbiking is phenomenally awesome!! i love the trails at night it will look magical especially if you're going fast and also those magicshine monteer those are extremely powerful bikelights that's a good light if you're going warp speed into some fast technical trails.
Hilarious! That's was the swamps revenge for Blake's recent attempt of submarining while selfie-shooting during that other EPIC ride in Scotland :D This time the water caught you ... Epic adventure, keep this coming!!! Great team, too!
YAY I see You use the half-size Kelly Kettle. We take it's bigger brother as part of our standard kit when heading into the hills on the bikes. always good to get a hot drink in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere! Keep on having fun on 2 wheels and keep up the good work on the videos :-)
I live in the US. I bought the Magicshine 8000s Galaxy light for $417 (after tax) and it's super awesome! However, I'm reluctant to buy their headlight (seen in this video) because I'd prefer a light that doesn't require me to wear a backpack to stow the battery in. I think a headlight mounted to your helmet with an internal battery is a better solution. However, I haven't been able to find one with 3,000 lumens.
i was laughing cause he didnt even try to help him but just stand there and laugh…thats when you know you have a best mate with you..wont help but laugh his ass off..hahaha nice night riding
Slipknot and killer sheeps :D I love night ride, so quiet so empty, only foxes looking around. Mostly I ride in the city Cracow after work but it is night.
Magicshine monteer 6500s on the handle bar and magicshine MJ-906S on the helmet is a brutal amount of light. Run at half mode is with this combi more than enough to see any detail of your trail. In half mode you will have a long run time over more than 3 hours easily this in combination with plenty of light. Only minor point is the short wire from MJ-906S. Is to short as helmet lamp and external batterij in jersey pocket. Is needed to place a bit higher on the back.
Blake mate, your not alone in running into 27.5” deep smelly welsh bogs. I did exactly the same on my betws-y-coed emtb holiday last month. Only i did it in the daytime! 😂
A handlebar light by itself will cast big shadows across chuckholes making it impossible to gauge how deep they are. If you only have one light, make it a helmet light.
Night riding is far better than day riding because all your senses are heightened bigstyle and everything feels faster, sharper etc.....the key is to get a good set of lights! Like the boys said one for the bar one for the helmet and your away to go. Never ride alone on a night ride, always go with a friend or two. I've ridden alone on a massive local loop and it's super sketch. Had a massive off on the final decent but lucky didn't hurt myself. You should deffo give night riding a blast, if u love mtb'ing u will absolutely enjoy night rides! 🌙
Outbound Lighting is the answer Magicshine has left me walking in the dark many times. Magicshine has decided to randomly kick off and not turn back on with more than one light.
