bobhead.co.uk/ Ep 39 Stuck for hours in the freezing cold, my Harley Road King is bogged up to the axel ! I am truly in a bad place. Is there anyway off this mountain to avoid the freezing conditions of high altitude in Ecuador ?
You best tune in to her for way better adventure than this rubbish. Careful planning, good information, educational, lovely scenery, good head on shoulders and no idiotic play for the sake of clicks and she gets 50k clicks on average for content that outstrips Danny's bollocks. She is riding from Morocco through west Africa into South Africa.
to the young man whom Danny gave $200 to, in order to get some help. I hope your mother and father know how much of an amazing soul you truely are. You came back and in the pitch black with your friends and you guys risked that trip to save another human being whom you didn't know for what is really a small amount of money and totally based on an honour system. The search and rescuse guys did an amazing job but son, you are the real hero in this story and if you were my son, I would be so proud of the man you are. I hope you have a successful life!!!!
I didn't think that was the same people that Danny gave money to? It was 2 men and a kid from what I could tell. Perhaps that couple sent them to help Danny. It wasn't clear.
Despite MDB's claim he gave the girl $100. Watch it. Later he claimed it was $200. Then in the comments he claims it was $300. The truth does NOT matter!
Carry a proper sat nav and back up paper maps. Common sense. I’d love you to get back to your old formats without all the fake drama, and click bait. Your early videos were great, really genuine. Now it looks like fake drama punctuated by 5 star hotels. Please Danny.
I am from Brazil. I was moved by this episode. How good it is to see that there are still good people in the world. I really like your channel. Congrats on the adventure.
The media always put the negative on people of South America and other places to give the insecure public that others have it worse than them, when you travel most of the time it's the other way around, in your travels you have showed time and time again the humanity in people which by the way is awesome and we really need more of this!! I just want to say thank you, be safe, and looking forward to new adventures, PS. I hope its still worth it!
I hate to say this because I’m definitely not a hater but I can’t bear to watch these episodes anymore because they went from an adventure series to a drama series. It’s the same thing over and over. I really like the vlogs when he rode to the til of Australia and even the early episodes of this series. Danny, if you’re reading this I hope you get back to that style of Moto vlogging and not the drama stuff you’re putting out now
Well done… you did the right thing… it’s easy to sit in an armchair and judge someone for doing something they are to afraid to do.. I think you are a legend…. Your courage is outstanding…
Rescue warrants a donation to the local SAR team. Would go a long way to improving their office, equipment, and accommodation. Big shout out to the local folks who got you on off the hill in the dead of night. Keep on truck'in Danny 😀
I lived in Ecuador in 2017 and 2018 and know how nice the people can be. It is an amazing country and I can't wait to go back. I also know very well how cold it can get at 4.000 meters at night. Spent a couple of nights at the foothills of the Cotopaxi and got a good taste. Stay safe Danny.
Danny you should absolutely pay to have their station upgraded. New TV, Nespresso, beds etc. It's the least you could do for all they've done for you. How much you spend is up to you but do something please. I know I would.
Yet after their care and support, DH denigrates and critiques the conditions in the station. He is the epitome of crass, boorish behavior. Playing an ass for views. 😠
This just shows you when you’re in a bad situation, help is nearby. Seeing the smiles on the rescue personnel who love to help people brings a smile to me.
As an avid watcher of these videos, this episode was painful to watch. All these genuine wonderful people helping a clown searching for content. You have sunk to a new low. WTF.
Magnifico!! You pressed the button at the right time. No point in waiting until its too late and then being found dead. Escalate early in an emergency situation.
You absolutely owe those rescuers a great debt of gratitude. I'm so glad you used your emergency beacon. Hypothermia is no joke. You did the right thing. I just can't figure why you didn't try to start a small campfire. You should also have a emergency blanket. One of those foil looking sleeping bags. They fold up and take hardly any space in your luggage. I'm just happy you made it through. Onward to Columbia, can't wait.
There are lots of things Danny could of done. He had had to start a fire. He could of started the bike and used the engine heat to dry his socks and warm his hands and gloves. But all in all he did what he had too to survive.
JUST FANTASTIC! Australia should give you an award for being a good will ambassador. In some ways this video was your best yet because it showed your ability to bring out the best in others. People are great even with language and cultural barriers! Nice going!
well Danny we all have heroes. I do believe /know that there are a lot of people on here that you are their hero. You are going out and doing what we would love to do.
I’m almost scared to read the other comments. These journeys of yours are amazing and it has been so entertaining to see all the mvlogs regardless where you’ve been. But this Death Road playlist is the best. Yes, I’m impressed by your stubbornness and drive. But I’m equally irritated by the poor judgement, not learning a thing from all those previous accidents and numerous problems. When every single trip’s success is totally depending on other people’s kindness, there’s something fundamentally wrong in planning and attitude. Couldn’t help thinking about all those people they have found alive a week after the earthquake. Children with barely clothes on. Nothing to eat, nothing to drink, injured and in freezing temperatures… and then this. Anyways, ML&R/Heikki, Stockholm Sweden
@@danielhayes-domore lmao!! If it wasn’t for YOU Danny. They would of found HUNDREDS of more kids. It’s ALL YOUR FAULT DANNY. goddamn Danny why are you trying to live your life and travel on a Harley??? Are you the spawn of satin himself Danny?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 fuck em all Danny. This video shows how truly kind all HUMANS are. But take the same scenario and put it in the states. That first kid wouldnt of got his kicks dirty and would of ran off with the cash.
You made it Danny. It is easy to think of things I would of maybe did different from my comfortable place in Guatemala City but you serviced to ride another day. That is a win for sure.
Danny I wonder if this will change you? I admire your free spirit love of life please don’t let this change your free spirit ..you’re not crazy you’re brave in my eyes Danny keep living the dream 🙏
The Firefighters after putting you up for the nite even washed your motorcycle. This is one group that will help you out no matter where you are in the world. I would certainly would hang on to that sticker they put on your bike, not that you will need a reminder of their kindness.
Such generosity, compassion and caring from the locals. Seems as if you have a watchful eye over you lately. So glad you are ok and continue to push on.
Danny, this was by far my favorite episode of all of your adventures. I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic in upstate NY. It just makes me sooo happy to know that no matter where the locale fire and ems are there to serve! It does not suprise me that they went above and beyond to try to help you. I wish you many safe travels sir! Im retireing in september and I hope to have a few adventures of my own. Keep it up please and always be safe! MDB rules!!!!
Danny you did the right thing by pushing that button! Great video so far. Also just finished watching you in Big Brother, exceptional game play! Never dreamed you would make it to the point you did! Good job!
Few hours in the dark and your crying and calming your hallucinating acting like you’ve been there for a week 🤦🏼♂️, these new vlogs are ridiculously dramatic.
People are great in Ecuador, lovely country. The roads and mountains are crazy there. When we did our routes on GPS in Ecuador , we would use wifi while we had it to map our route before leaving the house. Then once on the road with no internet you have to stick to that pre planned route because it wont update itself until you have wifi or internet again.
This will make you stronger Danny, i would have probably done the same stupid decision, its part of us. Great episode, im actually surprised it took you this long to get into this shitt mate. And it's one thing watching this on my big TV in my warm safe loungeroom than being out in that environment, crazy stuff
Bivi bag, fire steel, steel wool, dry socks…………you know basic shit Danny 🤣, glad you were okay but come on a little prep with emergency rations etc. Sending love from Blighty 🇬🇧❤
That's what epirbs are for and I think that using it saved you in more ways than you realize. I no longer mind having to watch the adverts in your vlog. Good stuff bro.
yeah it's beyond stupid. It's typical of him though. He does stupid shit, blames others and then the rest of the world has to bail him out of the shit he created himself. It does however, give you insight as to why his last two marriages failed. Major narcissist.
On ya Danny hope you send them a gratuity worthy of your pain. Life sends some curve balls and you handled that well in my opinion. I would have just about been in panic mode from sun down
You took a wrong turn and made a bad judgment call, we've all done it. But now you have another great story to tell! The journey is a go! Ride on danny
That was just a beautiful thing. I hope your rescue team sat together and watched this episode with the rest of us. Thanks team for looking after our bogan.
Id say they watched & got upset with danny calling them local cartel thats why he changed the title, talk about distespect to the people who saved your butt
Mate you made the right choice I would've pushed it earlier can't put a price on your life that young man and girl are genuine good people god bless them
Which was the right choice? To keep going on that road? Trying to get through 3 feet deep mud on a 400kg bike? Not carrying supplies for the conditions? Not putting some basic thought and pre planning to a route ,especially in a foreign country? 😂
Awesome series Danny. Forget the Ecuador hotels, stay with emergency response. Home made meals and a bike wash! But, there's no reason for you to be so cold in the mountains, start a fire, dry out your boots. You have survival skills, I've seen you use them. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
No brainer pushing the button Danny. Don’t know the area or what the weather’s gonna do overnight at 4000 metres. Best thing, it highlighted the Ecuadorians 🇪🇨 as the fantastic friendly people I know them to be.👍 Stay safe 🇦🇺
Absolutely, fantastic help both from the boys lifting your Harvey onto the truck and safety/fire men who fed, gave you a bed, washed your bike and friendliness of them all. You were amazing Danny keeping it all together being on a road, unknown to you, in freezing conditions all by yourself. You should be very proud of yourself Danny and how far you've travelled alone, solo in all weather's. Keep going, can't wait for your next video. Take care. Xx
Jesus Mate, Itchy Boots goes down goat trails but she does it on purpose and has an adventure bike!!! She also has 1.5 million subs. People love her!! 😂😂 I'm just pullin' yer chain. I love both your channels. Two very different styles of riding and presentation. You deserve to be at a million subs. I find your vlogs extremely entertaining. You do some crazy sh*t that a lot of us criticize but that is what makes your channel what it is. I loved seeing the kindness of the people of Ecuador and I'm glad you paid the fellas who got your bike out. They deserved more than the couple in the last video.
The stupid person that has not gone to settings in the phone and set the sat nav to main roads, but hey it's Danny's clik bait. I've been riding for 50 plus year's everywhere in tough, harsh, cold, hot conditions only in Australia mind you but always wearing the correct gear with set up well, Danny says he has the right gear BUT NO HE HASN'T. Anyway Danny entertains in his own way and that is perfect cool doing thing's his way.
I was hoping it was just a teaser when you started this vlog, (distress button) we've seen you go down some challenging trails or as you call them tracks. Glad you made it out OK and looking forward for more vlogs.
After seeing the selfless generosity of these people’s on the MDB and Itchy Boots blogs I’d feel safer in South America than travelling around many British towns and cities.
Lucky man Danny lucky man. I too have an inreach mini and I was hoping you had it set-up and familiar with its operation, You were thankfully. Amazing the first ute and helpful young guy was on that track at all
No question that you did the right thing calling for help! Those that criticize are probably living in their parent's basement wishing they could do half of what you are doing. Great job Danny!
