Great job Steve, Keeping customers in the loop, Not talking about unnecessary crap and keeping it real, Very professional. That's how you stay in business.
That happened to me last weekend same thing. Boiler was put in new 2 years ago oil filter was pretty crapped up. Changed the filter and nozzle and good to go. Solved the problem.
that bio diesel is going to muck up alot of things especially if they start putting it in vehicles. good thing you went with gas engine on your new truck. im sure the damsel in distress appreciated all the knowledge you taught her. youre an excellent teacher, steve. im sure this will bring you some new customers.
3:51 I two Smart Oil Gauges (twin 330's and a Roth 275) they are shockingly accurate! Nice to know when I can take enough oil to get a lower price per gallon.
She sounded happy enough, cooperative and didn't give you any guff; the area looked fairly clean (unlike some of the hoarder houses you get sometimes), and she wasn't a bloated walrus. Your next GF maybe? Steve and Molly to the rescue, one damsel at a time!
Hey there Steve can you please do an updated video of drop lights that you use I can’t find the ones that you suggested as I guess they don’t make them anymore and that one in your current videos looks very handy much appreciated buddy love the content 👍🏻🇺🇸 thank you 🙏
Many of the problems with this shit, is that people don't service (maintain) equipment until a problem occurs. Another thing is that I want to commend you on some of the working conditions you work in. About like walking down into Grandpa Munsters experimental dungeon!
I'm confused as to why you set the low limit off even with a storage tank for hot water. I thought turning off low limit is only for cold start boilers without domestic hot water? You've mentioned that it's always good to keep the boiler at a minimum temperature, otherwise they can start leaking past the seals.
7:12 My Riello turbulator looks like that about twice a year! I can hear it running a little weird (queer)... a deeper sound, or it fires for a second, 3 seconds later fires up. Nozzle is fine, and inside of boiler is super clean.
And the Corn Farmers are a Political Powerhouse ensuring that they’ll never starve ! Corn is cheap to grow ( as opposed to other vegetables) and they are given subsidies to continue to grow Corn! I don’t blame them, just bucking the system!
Havent watched video yet but just figured id throw my 2 cents in. Those riellos will mis-fire from carbon on points or running too lean. The bio-fuel doesnt burn as bright so the "eye" shuts it down. Cutting the air/riching it up usually fixes it.
Mines staring up and stopping I cleaned the eye and ideas what else it could be what do you mean by cutting the air?? Would really appreciate any help thanks
Usually giving less air to the burner will result in a "brighter/richer" fire and solve the "on/off" problem. Try "cutting the air back" and setting it "richer". 12.5 co2 is what u should aim for. May need a pump pressure adjustment but usually just an air adjustment will work.
@@robertkieras1522 thanks for your response 👍 how would I do this?? I'm no plumber 😂 but I'm kinda handy at home so if you could explain we're I would start and how I can adjust the air please I'd appreciate that I have a riello boiler
The air gate is on the right side of the riello burner (once cover is off) you loosen 2 screws to slide the air gate and open or close air. Its a bit tough to do without a combustion analyzer cause if u cut air too much it will burn rich and soot up..but if its "mis-firing on/off" quickly its probably too lean and u could try closing the air slightly to see if that helps. Other option is to find a good full service oil company and they should be able to help. Im in western MA.
@@robertkieras1522 thanks for your help I'll try the air damper and hopefully it will help if not I'll have to call a plumber 👍 thanks again I'm in Ireland BTW 👍
I cannot believe you used Chanel lock plies on that filter. I have never seen you do that before. I have seen pin hole leaks in filters by doing this. You know hand tight or with a filter wrench. Just sayin.
