Totally wrong about build quality. Its perfect. Ive dropped it multiple times and this headset has been great for the almost 3 years ive had it. The quality is awesome and is still just as good as the day I got it. The ONLY thing I dont like is that the ear cups aren't detachable so its hard to clean them, other than that these are perfect for $60.
I’ve been buying RIG only since 2020. Best quality headset for the price. I hear things my friends with $100 headsets dont hear. The cushion on the headset is sooooo soft and comfortable. Not to mention they just look great. 90’s baby, sticking with my wired connections 🙌🏾
The build on this headset is extraordinary I bought these for my son in june of 2019 and as of today 7/112023 they are in perfect condition and let me tell you my boy is HARD on his things these survived 3 moves (2 across the country), and a divorce ... outstanding for $50 absolutely outstanding
If headset isn’t working (MIC) make sure it is first plugged into headset, then unmuted(red isn’t showing) and plug it in to controller. Worked for me.
If it doesn’t work, just make sure to unmute mic then plug in mic. (Edited) also the ear size is fine, you just have big ears. Embrace it my friend, do not be afraid of your elvish ancestry.
Has this headset a couple of years ago befire moving onto better ones and this headset never failed me for so long. Love it. Great sound and build quality.
I've used this headset for 2 years almost and ive had no issues. It is also the only headset ive had... Mic is good. Sounds great and the build quility i thought was fine. My mute switch does not rattle like the one you have so mabye you just got a faulty one idk... but I am very happy with this.
@@vtupaq3411 I use a Razor Blackshark V2 now, the mic on my RIG is still fine to this day but the ear pads whore out and lost their shape making them painful to wear for long periods of time. After trying out many other gaming headsets now I’d say my two favs are the HyperX Cloud II and the Razor Blackshark V2 if you want to spend a little more. Both sound great with the Cloud II mic being ok but better sounding of the two. The V2 having a great mic and a little bass heavier sound profile that I personally am not a fan of but most people would prefer.

I've had mine over a year and it's been great, quality wise. my cats knock it off my chair and it crumbles into pieces, in a good way lol. If I spent more on a solid design it would've broke by now. I think the collapsible design is one of the best parts about it, behind the audio quality. Good video though, very informative 👍
I think they're a very good headset, all the ones I've had worked fine, I like how the adjustments are, because mines set on 3 and I don't have to keep changing it just throw them on. Super duper comfortable. Light. Great sound, honestly makes me question why people pay 100s for "better" ones when this does just fine, people want too much imo. Only down fall my mic sort of made buzzy sounds once but it still works. Build quality is not bad, but hey what type of person is going to throw these at walls like on deliberate no wonder they wouldn't last them
I got mine on sale and honestly I'm really satisfied. I like the 3 adjustments because you don't have to re-adjust everytime you put them on or to store them. I'd rather buy more games than spend extra on a "better" headset.
I bought this headset like 3 years ago and it honestly worked great, I was about 11 at the time, now I'm 14 and I had to buy a new one cause my dad broke it, now I'm realizing that I'm having the same problem as you, so I feel like I should return these now and get something else

@@superatrax3937 you have to go into the sound setting what device you are on and turn it up there or turn up the sound on the headset itself via the part where the cords spilt and on the side there is a slider which goes up and down
Very light weight,i have the artic camo for ps4 and they work awesome in my xbox one too..sound is clear and I'm told my voice is crisp and clear.... If the cables become tangled you can just pop the ear cups off untwist them, and you're good to go.
Just got these as a replacement for my recon 200s they are a bit quiet and the mic is a bit worse in quality (for my friends that is) it fits my very well and is a very nice headset.
@@ghaffz6744 ok. Check that your connection from the headset to your controller is solid, next the connection of the mic to the headset. Are your friends saying they can't hear you or are you simply unable to hear them?
i tried it on ps4 but the mic wouldn't work but it worked on PC. a day later it works on ps4 but not PC. i could hear my friends on PC (i use discord) but the mic wouldn't work.
I had the 1 ear version of this and the only reason I had to get another one is because I yeeted it at a wooden bed frame and it broke the audio slider which could be fixed if you aren’t a lazy shit like me. It was a very comfortable headset and even the 1 ear muff had amazing sound quality.
I personally could, I’ve actually used Plantronics in the past and with the exception of one I’ve never had a problem. And the only reason why I had a problem with one of them is because my child broke the headset
Do you know if the 400hx Xbox editon works on the ps4? It has also has a 3.5mm jack but they still sell and list them separately. I would probably have sound but would the in line controls work and will the sound be the same?

Yeah u got a bad one cuz I bought it and the volume/mute thing does not shake and when you change the size it actually sounds strong and there’s nothing wrong with the headset so I recommend y’all but it
Currently I've been having mic problems my party members can't hear me or they hear a constant blowing into the mic like noise, I have to constantly inplus and plug it back in until they can hear me, any solutions?
I have quite a few headsets two of which being this one and astro a10s and speaking from experience you would want to get the Astros for the extra 10 dollars because imo the astros are 100x better
I’ve had this headset for about a year now but when I first got it a couple of months after I did it stopped working so I just stopped using it then I picked it up again and it started working now it stopped working again I can’t hear them but they can hear me so basically I can speak through the attachable mic but they can’t hear me through the headphones help me if u can
I think you have big ears cause these go over my ears and i have a pretty big head i admit even at the third notch on both cups its a bit tight but the cushion is veeeeey comfortable, the sounds is good but not too much bass the mic is not amazing but its very good and my friends hear my clearly I paid $40 for this one at walmart and it’s very good for the price I have it as an extra for when my wireless one dies (: awesome for the price imo
