Always love seeing your Patrol. Just when I think you can't get it looking any better you do. Definitely eye candy for me. Credit to you both! Looking forward to watching your adventures next year. Thanks for posting quality material.
Thanks for your kind words mate! We tried to go big for this one im stoked with how it come out! Plenty more coming! Thanks for following the adventures Steve!
Well done guys. Huge congrats from South Africa. Your after market for Patrol accessories is so superior to what we have here. Very jealous. I drive an 04 y61 3.0 td. Best car ever owned. I work it hard. Never had a days issue 17 years later.
very nice I am looking to get a Y62 next year to deck it out how much do I need to spend $$ also towing a sunseeker desert storm 20.6 any help would be fantastic to get me traveling around Australia
Cheers mate! What mods you want to do is totally up to you and what you will be using it for mate! Just standard you definately need stiffer rear springs and airbags for towing as they are quite soft, You will love it mate!
Hey mate love the patrol looks absolute beast. Just bought myself a y62 til series 5, and been looking around for a decent exhaust without droning the cabin much. Any suggestions would be great located in Victoria as well?
Hey mate thanks for watching! Cannot recommend the Torqit 3 inch stainless enough mate, gives you that good deep V8 note! Email jess@torqit.com.au and reference travelling campers and she will sort you out mate!
Make sure you title your videos with 'Armada' as well to capture the US market/viewers. I don't think the US market really understands how capable the Patrol is. No idea why Nissan USA have not used the 'Patrol' branding considering the vehicles heritage, real missed opportunity. They sell tens of thousands of Y62's in the USA, could be more
Cheers mate! Yeah we like to kind of keep our audience Australia wide mate as that is where we come from! A few blokes have said to start posting Armada in the headings so I might give it a go mate! Cheers for that and thanks for watching!
Cheers for watching mate and congrats on the new car! Honestly haven’t added it up, car plus all the gear would be around the 100k mark I would say mate!
Still waiting on my car now stuck at transport company , 2” lift diff gears e locker supercharger front bar rear bar air bags duel compressor clear view side steps 35”tyres extractors 3.5 exhaust 12 000 pound winch fab witz 5” snorkel , it’s a series 5 , which have moved twice in price since I brought mine so far 130 000 fully insured for that by 4x4 club and still other things to do .
Hey, I am just wondering about the Digital Cluster; 1. Does it void warranty? 2. Have you had any defects with it? I got my brand new Ti-L patrol fairly recently, analog cluster is very mundane for a vehicle in 2021 after I saw your digital cluster, which looks mint as. Thanks heaps.
Hey mate thanks for watching! We haven't had any warranty issues or any issues with the cluster, we love it mate changes the whole look of the inside of the vehicle! Cheers!
Spot on mate, Servicing department confirmed it as well, doesn't void warranty, also said that considering the model year of the vehicle it should have come with a digital display. All is good as long as no wiring is cut, they have no issues with plug and play. But every dealer and service department has their own take on it.
Great to see Aussie products being used when can. Looks the business. Leaves the TFL guys a bit behind with there review of the USA version. Are you doing a front locker?
Cheers mate! We always try to support Aussie when we can! Yep waiting for a front locker to rock up mate, after doing a heap of tracks I could go without it, for me It is more knowing I can be full locked when going through water crossings to give ourselves the best chance haha. Will be ultimate once we have the lockers! Cheers Shane
Agree, the North Americans really don't know what they have in the Armada. Blame Nissan, they have always been rubbish at marketing and using their heritage. The 200 series is called a Landcruiser in the states because Toyota know the the 'Landcruiser' nameplate is gold, Nissan have no idea as usual.
Seems to be handling the Australian conditions just fine mate! After coming from a diesel there is no way we would be going back! Cheers for watching mate!
