This video nailed it and I still watch it. For years after being so close to going to the World Series in 2006, it was painful how we choked 2 years in a row, then we became the laughing stock of baseball. 2015 showed opponents enough was enough and it was an amazing season to still remember!

The first mets game I clearly remember watching was Game 7 of the 06 nlcs. Since then it hasn't been easy but I think all the mets fans out there will agree with me that its nice to have a team to be proud of again.

As Wright said, we've been through some good, a fair amount of bad, and a HELL of a lot of ugly. This video always puts a smile on my face. I won't soon forget that year, or the guys who made it possible. We will always love our team ~ A Met fan

I’m an Aussie who went to my first ever MLB game 7 years ago yesterday, at Citi Field. With my wife and 3 kids on our dream 5 week holiday around America. Saw the Mets beat the Brewers 5-1. Syndergaard pitched. I was absolutely hooked! LOVE NYC and hope to come back one day. Following the Mets on Facebook, I came across this video when we were in the world series and it gave me chills. Just searched for and found it again - still gives me chills. LGM

"BELIEVE" has been adopted by so many franchises in so many different sports - it all started with the Mets however in 1973! THE METS CREATED THAT SAYING along with Yogi and his "It ain't over till it's over" that same year. Two of the greatest sayings in baseball/sports all from the Mets!!! Believe in 2015!

I remember the first time I visited New York. It was just over 3 years ago, during the memorial day weekend. One of the things I wanted to do while I was there, was I wanted to watch a baseball game considering the rich Baseball history New York has. The Yankees were out of town but the Mets were in town and they were playing Philadelphia, which was perfect for me considering I live in Hawaii, and at the time Shane Victorino was playing for the Phillies. I Remember falling in love with the atmosphere of Citi Field andof course enjoying the game which was a high scoring affair which surprised me considering Citi Field was supposed to be a pitchers field. I also remember going into the Museum area after the game just mesmerized at all of the history. Long story short, I ended up talking to one of the staff members there and I commented on how good the Mets looked to me and I remember him telling me that he was a afraid that the Mets were going to fall short that year because beyond R.A. Dickey, the Mets didn't have a good rotation at the time and they were lack somewhat in the hitting department. However I remember him telling me that the Mets had a strong crop of young talented pitchers and position players in the minors and that in about 3-4 years The Mets could be playoff contenders. Man, how right he was. Anyways. best of luck to The Amazins and I hope they go all the way to the world series because it's long overdue and I'm really getting tired of seeing the Giants or the Cardinals in the WS.

This year's Mets are amazing!! Such a deep team with elite pitching and now some elite hitting. With many great young players too. It's been a while Mets fans, but time to get excited! So many magical moments this season so far. It could be our year!

Still coming back to this before the Mets 2022 playoffs. Love the way this video shows previous years and has all the great calls from Gary … need a 2022 video like this.

I am a Giants fan. It took 50+ years for the first WS title in 2010. I remember and understand the pain. This is a likable Mets team. Beat Dodgers and Cardinals and go all the way.

as a giants fan I knew after seeing a good sample size of the Mets play I was convinced that they would be in the mix for the WS. talk about a starting rotation. I was worried that the Dodgers would beat you guys., but thank you so much for beating the Dodgers. You know, you get toward the end of the season and the focus is so much about playoffs that you forget how many great moments it took to get us there. The Flores non-trade game was one of the best things I've ever seen. In an era where money and business seems to overpower loyalty and a love for one's team and fans, how awesome was it to see a guy so upset over thinking he was leaving the organization that he was moved to tears on the field. That's a guy I want on my team. Let's Go Mets!

It's amazing how, in an odd way, Wilmer Flores has been essentially the microcosm of the New York Mets. Struggled at points, scrutinized, and was almost beaten down, but he picked himself up and emerged. It's poetic, and that picture of him tugging his jersey is sure to become iconic.

I love this video and keep coming back to it. Best NY Mets playoff hype video and probably my favorite Mets season of my lifetime. However, it also makes me sad as almost all the players in this video are no longer in the league and Mets fans are still waiting. I'm 39 and the last Mets WS win was when I was 1 1/2 and too young to remember. I got a lot of hope when Cohen took over but here we are again .... feel like it just will never happen ...

My first baseball team was the 1969 "Miracle Mets" thanks to my 5th grade teacher who was a huge Mets fan even though he'd just moved to California to teach -- he got a TV from the A/V department and watched the World Series during class time. Congrats on your season -- now will you please beat the freakin' Dodgers? This SF Giants fan would appreciate it. :)
