The scene showing dazai shooting the man over and over again truly shows how messed up in the head he really is and it is a hard scene to watch knowing that he was still only 15 years old during this arc.

I'll never not laugh at Chuuya coming in screaming and kicking the sht out of Randou in this one. It's just as hilarious as the "Dazi's on the phone" moment with Atsushi and Akutagawa. On the other hand, Dazai continuously shooting the gun at that one GSS dude is kinda terrifying every single time.
This is such a cool concept - Arahabaki and Chuuya. Chuuya is such a Goated character. And seeing Dazai just shoot that man over and over while laughing is so terrifying. He was a child at that time and still just completely chaotic.
It was immensely disturbing and I'm so annoyed when people fangirl over it instead like "omg he's so hot!" Excuse me, he's not right in the head and neither are you apparently!

It's sort of a spoiler, but Chuuya was experimented on as a child. Thats how he has the "demon" or "god" Arahabeki. He was made the vessel, but later caused that giant crater in the city. He has no memories before then. That extra part of his ability is referred to as "Corruption." He cannot control it, only Dazai can stop it, as seen in Dead Apple and Double Black.
There is this light novel called stormbringer that actually explains a lot and goes deeper into Chuuya’s backstory, it’s so good it made me like Chuuya a lot more, I also cried. After ep 3 you can start reading it. The novel doesn’t spoil anything from the manga so its ok to read if u haven’t finished the manga and anime (from 3x3 onward). 👍🏽
@@7evilartz981 honestly if it were to get animated it would have to be a movie or a whole season because it's pretty long, 1-4 episodes wouldn't be enough (like how they did in s2 and 3)
Dazai and Chuuya’s character dynamic and relationship (not as a ship) is so fun to watch, their characters really bounce off each other and it’s always engaging

Accelerator looks pretty interesting, the clips i see of him are always pretty cool. But i couldn't tolerate more than 3 episodes of certain magical index ngl.
Arahabaki doesnt necessarily take over Chuuyas body its more like his own gravity manipulation ability takes over once he activates corruption. His ability gets a power boost and thats why he loses control over it. No demon takes over him Chuuya just loses awareness.
