Listening to this brings tears my eyes. Bobby Hatfield had not only soul, but a voice straight from heaven.

Chad! My Dear! I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so! Months ago, when I heard this for the first time I was stunned. I knew Bobby was the greatest Tenor on earth, and a couple of times I suggested you just put this on sit back and listen to the most beautiful voice you ever heard. We who suggested this were so right, weren't we?! Thank you Chad, so much for giving this song your attention. I listen to it nearly every day, his voice is unbelievable. The best ever, no arguments. I had listened to Andy Williams, Tony Bennet, and several others. They couldn't even come close to Bobby. This another one I call "Bobby's Song." Sinatra? Who's he?

This is a really smooth and romantic song. It's also a song of hope and dreams for a better future. It was composed in 1963 for the West End musical called 'Pickwick' based on the 'Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens and went to number 18 on the U.K. charts for Sir Harry Seacombe. Great to have you back Chad, you were missed. Hope you had fun at your sisters wedding .

I came across this song couple of years ago, and I knew you would love it. Thanks . What made Bobby different and special ? Not only his voice, but the quality of sincerity, passion, and love into every song. These elements were present in all of them. Bobby was a remarkable human being.

Every album they made included at least one solo cut each, often two each - but this particular album is only solo performances. Bill is featured on the 'A' side and Bobby on side 'B'.

Oh Lordy, never heard this by Bobby Hatfield. As is the usual, he does it justice and then some. His voice was creamy smooth and would caress the words with such emotion! Once in a lifetime voice!

Chad, have you listened to Bobby's "Let It Be?" from "The Richard Perry Sessions?" Beautiful, as usual for all of Bobby's songs. Better than the original, by far IMHO.

Thanks Chad! I've always loved a lot of the older singers. A lot of them were singing when I was young. But my favorite is still the Bee Gees! You're my soul and my heart's inspiration is my favorite by the Rightous brothers.

Hey Chad, glad you're back. Bobby does have a beautiful voice. I appreciate the talent, but this just isn't my thing. It sounds so much older than its release date, and I really don't like the sound of the backing vocals. I think of a little more soul when I think of the Righteous Brothers. Imagine "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin.' Guess I need to hear more of Bill Medley's lower voice. Awfully glad to see your reaction posted tonight and appreciate your take on the sound.
