Rihanna inspired? I had the same hairstyle back in Middle school. All the hairstyles come back around. Don't give the celebs all the credit folks. Dang, Im old. I LOVE the fact that your kept the curl in your hair! Looks FAB!!!
This is how we Africans always do our hair and our hair is definitely 4c ... we grew up in this hairstyle, but we don’t use rubber bands, we either use free hand or use wool
First - The hair. Yass squirrel, yasssss!!!👏🏾👏🏾 Second - I'm in my late 30s and dealing with acne breakouts. Yes 20 year olds, tweens, and teens... Acne in your 30s is a thing. THEN, I started to wash my face with Najel Savon D'Alep Aleppo Soap (Olive & Bay Laurel Oils) - 40% Bay Laurel Oil - and it murdered the excess sebum my face was making. It cleared up my skin tone, I got a little bit of a glow going (how I bling, bling), acne breakouts are practically non-existent - and even though it's a block of soap, it's gonna last for MONTHS. Just thought I'd drop that for ya, since you've been so giving to us 4C sis' (sisses?...)😬
Hi Jenn. ...I watched the first time, I was blown away. I wasn't natural but recreated the style following your steps. Mine doesn't look so dope as I got tired half way and made the parts bigger😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing 🥰
Lovely....Heyyyy its ur girl jen j....love that beginning. Im a newbie to your channel well i have been watching you over two months ever day, watching all your vids and im up to speed. Last time i straightened my hair was Dec 12 2019 and decided to go back natural for diff reasons and with covid, it was a great time to do it. I only recently did my big chop about a month ago so i have TWA right now. I love your vids, its gonna help me with my hair when i start rocking it fully, right now its in braids but i am goin to rock my hair for my birthday September 11. Congrats on your 100k. You and La toya ebony are two ppl i follow and have sat down and watch all the vids in the past two months. All the way from the Caribbean - Trinidad 🇹🇹
That hairstyle is so dope on you. I was just thinking about doing a hairstyle similar to your version but I couldn't bring it to life. You brought my vision to life. You ROCK! I am so inspired to try it next week. Thanks for sharing.
Losing the comb... Typical lol I hate when that happens... "It was right there" 🙄😅😂 And btw, THANK YOU for the rubber band oiling trick : game changer! PS. Never crochet-ed lol
I did this style yesterday...i did not use rubberbands or gel i just plaited and used marley braid for the extension...thank you jenn...💖💖the parting was a struggle but i did it...today morning i felt myself..😍😍😍
Wait!!! I just had to stop by and show some love. Gurl!!! You did that! All of that! Love me some Riri you know she bae but gurllllll!!! This is what I need👌🔥 🔥 🔥
Bruuuhhhh! The way your hair does what it wants as soon as you unravel it is my absolute favorite parts of your styling vids. I love it lol thank you for the vids! Much love to you and yours and Mr. Mimi
This has to be my favorite, most (personally) accessible style you've done. How long would you recommend leaving this style in? Hopefully I didn't miss you saying it in the video. 😅
You did this girl. I like when you said that you are going to get your money worth out of the leave in conditioning. I feel you on that.I want every drop.🤣🤣 Your hair is beautiful.
I am also getting pimples with masks; between the heat and the sweat it is a perfect environment for pores to get clogged. When I get home I use some acne medicated pads like Clearasil which you can find at a drugstore. Also for the hyper pigmentation, I struggled a lot with that too, I do a mask one to two times per week (usually on the weekends, one in the morning and one at night). I really like Freeman's masks and their exfoliators. I also recommend an acne spot treatment for acne scars; I have the "Stubborn Acne Control 5 in 1 Spot Treatment Cream" and I use it once before I go to sleep. Hope this helps.
Hi Jenn, I’ve just discovered your channel, can you believe that? Loving all your beautiful styles & fantastic hair care advice. You’re now my go-to blogger for my natural hair journey. Congrats on your milestone on 100k+ subscribers. You’re fab! M x
Jenn you need to have multiple masks and handwash the mask used each day. For the hyper pigmentation i find vitamin e oil at night is helpful (too heavy for daytime). Hope it helps!
Riri is cute, but it looks better on you, girl! This is like the first time in 6 years that I’ve wanted my sides back cos this frohawk is keeping me from trying to look like you!
Hey girl, this style is everything. I've been putting off washing my hair for days now buh I think watching this just gave me the push I needed. Will definitely give it a go. Luh this look.
I use to have really bad hyperpigmentation and the best fastest cure was literally sea salt and honey mix in water and applied to my face for 15 minutes rinse with cool water. Moisturize. Do a couple times a week. I had tried everything up until that point. Changed my skin!
