You edited videos is how I found you and even the vods take me a few days to watch bc of my schedule so long form is definitely paying off for the edits just finished the sang run yesterday so I'm happy to start this new rum today even tho I'm already behind😅
On the off chance this gets read, at the end of the video the discussion on where 'kiting' comes from is flying a kite. Nothing fancier than that. Not sure if that got cleared up in the twitch bounty, but if any non-english or non-kite flying english speakers are confused that's the source. When flying a kite typically you need to catch stronger winds higher off the ground for it to stay up. So do so you first run against the wind giving the kite a bit of manual speed to get airborne and up in the air. Then you pause and see if the kite caught enough of a natural breeze to stay up on it's own. If so, yay! You're flying a kite and can relax and enjoy. If not, keep running a bit more and see again. But you only have a second or so to decide if you need to get running again since if there isn't enough wind, then gravity is bringing it back down. Hence, 'kiting' when you're repeatedly pausing between running.
Kiting is a gaming term that has been around since the late 90s. Some say the term is an acronym for “killing in transit”. Nothing found about your kite reference. Nothing even about kiting being a used term in kite fighting.
For a greater chance at capturing Chimeras, attack them before they start their "agressive hunting" pattern. I discovered this by accident because my base was close to the edge of the map and I wanted to go on a caravan, so I went after them as soon as they arrived on my map. I got 10+ downed chimeras. Obviously I didn't have the means of containing all of them, so I left some to just bleed out. To my surprise, one of my colonists almost died later surrounded by three Chimeras. I've tested on other waves since them and I'm pretty sure they are programmed to "fake" going down if attacked before they decide to attack, so they can later get back up and catch you by surprise. In all the times I waited for them to come, they always fought to the death. The AI on the anomaly treats is no joke.
4:20:00 Dune book with all the inner monologs felt a bit like Death Note anime. I mean, only the inner monologs of outsmarting the enemy. I loved the book btw
i had a flesh sample in the prison. after organ harvesting the 2 prisoners, no metal horror was found. then i remembered, the newest created ghoul was a hussar i bought from slave trader ship. he still had the parasite... his ghoul comrades beat the metal horror out of him, and i easily ressurrected the guy.
Love the content lol just informed me I could have multiple specialist. But also Jesus Christ I now know why chat said never to tell that story again.. that’s wild..
I read dune and the sequel (which is even LESS action) and am reading the third I read it because part 1 (the movie) was so fkn nice and interesting and cool, and always hearing "oh inspired by dune" and such on so much sci-fi, plus people always bringing it up in convos about how I love mass effect or some other sci-fi series, it was a VERY good read, personally I am excited but kinda worried on the adaption of messiah, there is one part I REALLY want to see done well "The Stone Burner" and its preceding scenes, but overall it is even more into politics and talking then the first book was, and a few moments im not sure will make it onscreen either way interesting series, both the movies and the books I gotta sleep and watch morel later since im finally back to finish my college schooling after a long hiatus for life/work/etc
Around 6:55:00, you were talking about creator flavors of the drink you sponsor with. I'm not familiar with all their flavors. But maybe something like strawberries and cream would be fun. As long as it worked with your own personal tastes, of course.
I wonder if boomrats and boomalopes will insta kill devourers since they just explode when they die. Edit: Wow... the comments got me thinking. How much more horrifying would Rimworld be if there was lobotomies? I mean... there pretty much are with Joywires, Painwires and Ghouls but... just going for it...
I just noticed if you have two shooting specialized pawns both use marksman command it seems to lower there aim time to 10 % is this normal ? was messing with sniper rifles and its almost instant :o
Ah, in the first hour hes already making plans to capture people for their traits. It wouldnt be a melee gods run without some good and old fashioned kidnapping
Speaking of stylised graphics, everyone hated Legend of Zelda: Windwaker’s graphics at release. But because it was stylised it’s the only one that looks decent nowadays. Also polygon era games were built for CRT, so modern displays don’t make the graphics look as the games did back in the day.
I watched the stream in 4k on my TV but went back to watch some stuff I missed and I'm only seeing 1440 as the highest option. Is there a delay for the 4k to be available to replay that I might have missed? I don't remember there being an issue before.
Charge rifles must be of high quality (at least excellent) to make it worth it over assault rifles, otherwise worse accuracy makes it not worth it. And they cost adv components too
It looked like the gray flesh only appears to the player once it is discovered by a pawn, so watching a replay to see who is nearby when it drops won't work. Someone might need to test how that works or look through the code.
I do. The answer it 'it depends'. I don't even have many linked shelves in this playthrough yet. - If you watched the 2 previous Anomaly playthroughs you'll specifically see me doing this while setting up the freezer etc.
I think the live tab hurts you a little bc I didn't know that either I watched a live half way went back the next day and had to hunt for it I could see that hurting you on new people but I like it now it's kinda separates your edited run fron the lives with helps since you do alot I'd lives so i can't watch them all this is my 3rd day of this video 😂😂😂😂😂
The 7:58 mark is a bit iffy. I keep coming back and am loving your content. But if you're looking to improve, dismissing suggestions and telling your viewers to go watch something else just feels like the wrong way to go about things. Even if i personally disagree with them..
Someone in a comment told me to turn off my camera because they don't like looking at me and told me my voice was annoying and that I shouldn't talk on my own stream as much. They were probably trolling, but being a jerk either way. Saying that that person can either watch how it is or go somewhere else is not 'dismissing suggestions'. This wasn't a 'Hey man I noticed your camera was blocking a little of the bottom info would it be fine to move it or shrink it?' or 'Hey, is there a reason why you use a camera on stream?' If someone just comes in insulting me I'm not going to change something just for their sake that the majority is fine with / enjoys.
