so for the album cover, rina mentioned in an interview, it was like parenting her younger self, being "pregnant" w/ her inner child. hence that big ball!

Dont know if youve looked it up yet but Rina said "Send my love to John" was written from the perspective of an immagrant mother of a gay friend of hers who after years of not accepting him one day ended a voicemail with "send my love to john" his partner, which was a pivitol moment in thier relationship and her acceptance of him/them.

I absolutely love Hold this girl, best album of 2022 to me. The concept is amazing, the execution is IMMACULATE, the tracklist is really well put together, it flows so easily, the vocals are crystal clear spectacular and the production is classic and inovative, just top tier stuff. Love the mix of genres, the carage, drun n bass, rock, emo rock, country and pop infusion it all sounds so cohesive is perfection!! She is special indeed and I loveeeer her!!! And yes I cried 2 times listening to this album, first between hold the girl and catch me in the air and second between send my love to Jon and Phantom! Love you girls and I was really expecting your reaction 😍😍🥰🥰

I've been looking forward to see your reaction and I'm really happy that you enjoyed it! I'm sure that you've googled the songs at this point but a couple of notes if not: Frankenstein is theorised to be about therapy and addressing some trauma which makes sense when looking at the lyrics "Oh, my God, this is so unbearable. Make it stop, this is more than medical. All I want is to feel beautiful inside and out. You're the one who can save me from myself". Send my love to John is about one of her close friends, whose boyfriend's name is John. It's about his story from his mum's perspective and his mum finally ending a phone call with "Send my love to John". I love this album, I don't think I can say which of her albums I prefer as they're both distinct in their own ways. I cannot wait to see her live again later this month either!

Can't wait to see Rina live in a few weeks (London)! I honestly didn't vibe with many of the singles, but hearing it all together it feels soooo concise and definitely one of my favourite albums this year, Holy - Frankenstein (tracks 6-9) is my favourite section though. Definitely want a L&J awards show, but if you want some suggestions on new albums that I don't think you've reacted to: Demi - Holy Fvck Florence & the Machine - Dance Fever Also, can't wait for these albums to come out this month: Tove Lo - Dirty Femme Taylor Swift - Midnights Carly Rae Jepsen - The Loneliest Time

For the record tho, there is not a fav track for me on this album since I loved every one of them privately. But I'm kind of obsessed with Holy, Imagining and Fraknenstein. A little too much actually. To be more expressive, XSivelly. OKAY so Imma write it here not in the comments, I think we all need Jessie and Lydia Awards. It would be the moment and I believe that we all will favour my boo Rina so she will get al the awards. OK, now I finished the video and I realized that I'm the same person with Lydia. Our top three is the same; however, I wished I also could see her live. :))))
