Thanks. I had a home built and pre-wired with gfci outlets under the roof eave but I was not 100% sure this would mount onto it. What your showed was helpful.
Love the ring cams too. I currently have four including the doorbell. I use the ring chime pro to help with my wifi connection of my driveway cam . I currently have all batteries and just rotate them. I want to add the spotlight cam, but could use a little advice on strengthening my wifi.
Don't mean to disappoint but those are not cctv. They do not record 24/7 and they relay on Wi-Fi connectivity. Before you disagree i work for an electrical and security system company.
Really? Interesting because I owned a burglar and fire alarm security company for over a decade and I have installed many commercial cctv systems across many brands including Pelco, Everfocus, Hikvision, Axis, and a plethora of others. The definition of closed-circuit television includes wordage such as “security cameras that can be displayed on limited monitors” and I am confident A) this is a security camera and B) you cannot see my cameras, thus, making them “limited” Ring more than meets the “cctv” criteria. I was installing cctv when you were a twinkle in your daddy’s eye so make sure you truly understand what you’re talking about before typing. Also, if you’re going to write a comment in all caps that simply says “THIS IS NOT CCTV” then be a man and stand behind your first post. Don’t delete and rewrite just to make yourself appear smarter instead of an ah. 🙄
Not sure I understand. The camera came as-is in the box and so did the hardware kit. Everything was included. Did you buy new retail or from ebay or some other source?
First, thank you for providing only a small amount of worthwhile knowledge as you were so desperate to do. Second, your statement is too vague. To which code do you believe I must become compliant with? Maybe I secretly live in Sweden? Would you know the “code” there? Instead of attempting intelligence maybe you should just roll your eyes and move on like the rest of us.
