For me it’s not what you say it’s how are you say it and this is very clear, simple to follow, concise and immediately understandable. Somebody else telling a similar thing in their own way may not deliver quite so clearly - or worse.

Surely completely missed the step of connecting r1 and rn at the socket? Went straight from end to end, then onto next step?

Surely discrepancies in readings taken at sockets on a twin socket can’t warrant a replacement if the prescribed disconnection time is met.
