Yes, his names really Jack Quist. An extremely talented singer/writer. He used to live with me 20+ years ago in Sandy Ut. for awhile. He writes exceptional songs.However he had has some rough times in his life, and it cut me to the bone that he wasnt able to have it all come together so the world could see his real talent. I'm just glad he's still involved in country music...and i hope that God will lead him back to some of his original materal again someday.
There is very few that can pull off what this man has done. So many impersonators either have the look but lack in the musical talent or vice versa, Jackson Cash has both the look, the sound, and the guitar to round it all out, bravissimo
Yeah, after writing this, I looked up more info and found out. I think I must have thought that because of a video I had seen of him singing with Joanne Cash. But yes, he is really good, why isn't he more famous. I know he may not make it only be doing Johnny Cash songs, but how about that same type of rockabilly sound? He is so much better than today's country music.

Many years ago when my wife was at the Boston Airport she was sitting down waiting. Soon came a man and his young son and they sat next to me wife.well they got to talking, she was talking to Johnny Cash with his son.She even got an autograph on a napkin. I wonder if Mr Jackson Cash remember that.
He is Jack Quist. He went to Olympus high school in Salt Lake City with me. Why did he change his last name? I also went to school with his sister Shellie. I graduated in 1974 and I think he graduated one year earlier with my ex-husband.
How can he call himself Cash? That is not his last name. Sure you can change your name and try to make people think you are John's son but come on. He is an impersonator LOL. He does very good at it too.
