Ring The Alarm for AU/VST/AXX, MPC Desktop & Standalone 

The biggest thing missing is a Fabfilter style eq Para eq is not cutting it, EQ is the most important tool for mixing and sampling, yet it feels neglected on MPC

@@AveMcree akai is the one who lied about Stems coming to MPC standalone (it's never coming to current gen MPC, the iPhone 5 tier SOC chip is simply not capable) but you gear tubers uncritically ate it up and helped sell that stuff to the community

Asking for a proper EQ is not a big ask like Stems or MPC 3.0

Because we’re tired of half-assed crap. Resources that could go in to completing things like streaming from source (Disk or SD) like the Force already has, or stems in stand alone we’ve been told “will exist” (like we were told with streaming) instead go in to an overpriced genre specific monosynth that no one asked for. Don’t attack the victims that invested in Akai in good faith only to discover Akai won’t follow through… Nonsense like yours where you praise a company for doing the next thing instead of completing the last thing… You’re the problem here accepting half-assed crap.

@@EverettVinzant This was probably contract work done by an external plugin developer or a different team in the larger Akai/inmusic structure, so it's not using the same resources that would be focused on the core improvements that you're looking for. You're not wrong for wanting that stuff, but I don't think releases like this are going to have an impact either way.

It requires Akai’s resources however you slice it. Those are the same resources that could have been used for the things people are asking for…

A different team produced this plugin rest assured Stems remains a priority.

@@AkaiProVideo Hi, I registered ring the alarm and I can see it in my account, but it always disappears when I click on "see regestration details".....it also doesn´t appear on my MPC Live II to activate it. It works as a VST though....is there something wrong?

Sorry to hear your having a problem activating please if you haven’t updated your going to need to be on MPC 2.14 then you will see the product available on standalone.

@@AkaiProVideo I have the latest update...thank you, but still nothing...I´ve tried to put in the serial number manually, but it says that it´s already registered in my account. If everthing´s updated and registered, why the hell it doesn´t appear on my hardware?

@@AkaiProVideo Tell the people that they have to go in controller mode and back in standalone mode...then the ring the alarm appears ready for activation and download for whatever reason. I never had to do this before, but it worked .....at least for me.

@@1980VINZ The update 2.12.2 for the MPC series added 4 new effects: AIR Chorus, Expander, Multitap Delay and Vintage Filter. The 3.3 update for the Force also added the new effects, but without AIR Expader for some weird reason. Then they released AIR Jura Chorus effect and the Flex Beat plugin, and they are not available on the Force for some stupid reason... Now it's the same story with this "Ring the Alarm" thing. Then there's this stem extraction feature, again, for the MPC software and possibly the standalone MPC devices in the future, but still no mention about the Force. I don't know, it looks like they fired the people responsible for porting the software to the Force's MPCOS version, or even worse they are silently abandoning the entire project which would be truly maddening. I think I hate AKAI sometimes.

Says not compatible for Force users on their main page.

One might wonder why are they not releasing the new stuff for the Force lately.......

same here. on PC i can install it, but on the MPC it doesn't show up. even after several refreshes and Re-Logins.

Same problem. OK on the Mac MPC software. Not showing up on the MPC Keys 37. It finally showed up 4 hours later.

This is available on standalone you will need to update your MPC OS to the latest version and once you’ve purchased a licence it will be available to unlock.
