ME TOO! Can we talk! It may have upheld that reputation years ago but now it's becoming intolerable. My main issue is BAD DOG OWNERS. I have had the misfortune of living close to two of them. I have no peace in my home as no matter who I appeal to I get ZERO help. It seems in RR bad dog owners get a free pass. Of the two who have made my life a living hell they totally neglect their animals. The dogs have little to no human interaction. However, it is incumbent upon we who have our peace disturbed on endless hours to record the barking then prepare for court!! I am on a first name basis with Cheryl at AC and it's the same old story. If you are short of help at AC then hire some! And dont send someone without leaving a notice. Which is what they do! They will send someone out and if the mutt is quiet they leave nothing! I have spoken with Mayor Hull about the problem but nothing changes except at first chance I will be changing my address out of NM after thirty five years. It has become a lawless place to live.

That's what I've been saying all along. I moved to Rio Rancho and the difference is evident. Investment in my property is only going up, everywhere else people are losing their investment

It's funny how the citizen survey didn't ask residents about how we feel about all the dust created in Rio Rancho, & how neighborhoods don't have respect re: BARKING dogs at all hours of the day/night.

yes, barking dogs. My peace is destroyed. What the hell do I pay taxes in full and on time for?

@@taroman7100 I love animals, but these days I have no mercy. So animal control gets a phone call so they can cite the owners. There is an ordinance against nuisance barking. There is also a time limit.

There are very few work opportunities in Rio Rancho. Weeds in the streets and sidewalks stay there all year long. Cost of water is outrageous. Dogs dogs and more dogs. Very few health care options.

It's so good that you need to own a car to get anywhere. You have to have streets for all users as opposed to just cars.

@@dave168mk Yeah that's super easy paying around $10,000 annually for car ownership just to commute to that job. Not really good for equity, upward momentum, or environmental aspects. You should choose to own a car not be required to for anything.
