You took the words right out of my mouth: Dicky was a brilliant guitarist, great songwriter and singer( Blue Sky, Ramblin Man) and the finest writer of melodiös epic guitar instrumentals like Jessica, Elizabeth Reed etc❤ in fact, I think no one comes close in the Rock/Blues/Psychedelic field apart from Mike Bloomfield's " East West", Peter Green's "Albatross", Carlos Santana's " Samba Pati", "Soul Sacrifice" and some Jeff Beck. Thanks for magical musical experiences Dicky🎉
Mike Pinder just passed as well. The man who equipped prog music with the Mellotron. Mike worked on it, distributed it (to the Beatles and the Stones) and Days of Future Past.
I saw that. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the Moody Blues, but primarily because I just have not listened enough. I have maybe two or three of their albums, which I do like.
