She does deserve to be a hall of famer for the accolades that you mentioned, plus, she paved the way for women's wrestling in mainstream tv, without Chyna, I personally believe that lita, stratus, Mickie James and even the current crop of WWE WOMENS wrestlers may not be where they are now. i know this has been said already many times about how WWE will make themselves look good by inducting Chyna but, I kind of don't want to see Chyna in the hall of fame because of that. They will make it look like they cared for her when really, they were most likely one of if not the biggest cause to her downward spiral

Incredibly tragic. I had the privilege of meeting Chyna and working security for her at a convention in Cincinnati about a month ago. Wonderful woman who really seemed to have worked to conquer her demons. She treated her fans with grace and kindness. RIP Joanie, thank you not only for what you did in wrestling, but also for the short time you let me get to know you, even just a little.
Though the McMachons wouldn't want to acknowledge her, they now have to. Her legendary status can't be ignored. Also, Raw is in Hartford, CT this Monday, not far from the WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT. So in a way I feel like Joanie got the last laugh about that, sad she's gone but hope she found peace. I hope Steph can get over herself and ensure that Chyna gets the proper respect with a 10 bell salute and an eventual Hall of Fame space. She deserves it and so do those who've looked up to her from that era.
I got to meet Chyna in December 2015 at Blizzard Brawl in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I was so star struck. She will be missed by all and her legacy will live on.

Chyna was the type of character that I would look up to as a kid because she was the opposite of what a woman was 'suposed to be' and she still kicked ass. I'm not a woman, but that sort of thing speaks to me. To hear of her passing at such a young age is honestly a bummer and something I didn't expect to happen. All I can say is, rest in peace Chyna. Thank you for helping to make wrestling this badass thing I loved as a kid and still love today. Hopefully we'll see you in the Hall Of Fame some day.
I saw a link about her death and I didn't wanna believe it. It sucks, she was one of the people I would have loved to meet but now that'll never happen. As much as she deserves it I don't think WWE deserves it. HHH cheats on her with Steph, they push Joanie out of the WWE and do everything to pretend she doesn't exist. Now they can exploit her passing for some cheap ratings. She deserves a spot in the hall of fame and the fact they will never put her in proves how big of a joke the WWE hall of fame is. I've told this story a hundred times. But 9 year old me didn't care about the other female wrestlers I was too young to care about all the sex. But I loved Chyna, she was bad ass with her looks and in the ring. I marked out so hard when she beat Jeff Jarrett for the IC. She was ahead of her time and I'm so glad all the kids today get to see great female wrestlers like Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks. Chyna was a bright spot in an era of women's wrestling that was and lets be honest really sexist. I hope the WWE will honor her legacy by continuing to improve the Women's Division and acknowledge her contributions to pro-wrestling and not let politics interfere.
She was THE woman in Women's Wrestling in WWE. Other Divas have come and gone trying to emulate her, but they can never replicate her success. She was the only Diva with the ability to hang around with both the women and the men in the ring, and that's impressive in my book. She will be missed...

I have an old magazine article stating that Chyna made the most money outside of wrestling in 2000 next to The Rock. This really shows how popular she was back then.

This was well said. My favorite Chyna memories were when she and Eddie were together. Loved her being Eddie's mamacita. When she came out with them roses too?!? That was just the best. I also loved when she had her WM moment and she beat Ivory for the Women's Title. The storyline leading up to it was pretty good as well. She definitely deserves to be in the HOF. They have to put her in. Should have been done a long time ago. RIP Chyna. You will never be forgotten. Always will be one of my favorite women wrestlers of all time.

Damn right she deserves to go. She's a human that made mistakes and had an unfortunate fall. The first & at this moment only female IC champion to me goes to say something. Some people talk about her porn & drugs...when I'm sure at least a third of the current members have had drugs and/or alcohol issues. If they don't place her in the HOF, it's a disgrace & shows how much of a backstage role Paul Levesque has...not to mention his head up Vince's ass. Not that is not already apparent. Terrible thing to wake up to. Kris Travis, Balls Mahoney and Chyna in the space of a few weeks. Regardless of her demons she broke huge boundaries for women wrestling. Hopefully the WWE put her in the HOF. RIP, sad news

I'm awfully picky who should be Hall of Fame worthy. To me, in order to be hall of fame worthy you have to leave a mark in wrestling that change the whole franchise and shapes it to where it is now. That is why I found most of the class of 2016 Hall of fame to be just disappointing and really weird choices. Everyone on their really just came and then left for a few years, not really leaving that big of a mark in the business. Sting is the only one that was understandable to me. With Chyna however, although it is probably just the same mark the others in the class of 2016 have, when it comes to the women in WWE, that is where she definitely left a huge legendary mark in. Enough to be Hall of Fame worthy in my book.

That's nuts!!! I fell asleep last night watching wrestling related vids last night and woke up to chyna being interviewed. Got me thinking of her story so I started watching more of her videos and more of her stuff today and then I hear about this. That crazy and it's sad. RIP Chyna.
