Ripley's Tunnel 

ok since I work at a haunted attraction I will give you the secret. This room is usually called a vortex. The platform that you walk on is perfectly straight and leveled. While the tunnel 'vortex' spins around it creates the illusion that your spinning out of control and having to use the rail for guidance long story short its an illusion

I remember trying to run through something like this. I almost went of the rails

There is also one in Hollywood, California's Ripley's Odditorium

it looks like the walls move??? What are you talking about the walls are a moving tunnel that spin around constantly giving the illusion that your spinning!!

ive been there and its hard as fuck to walk straight.. your mind thinks your moving but its just the walls.. so your mind tries to cope with the surrounding...

there is one of those in san antonio but at the ripleys believe it or not museum

I don't know anything about the RIpley's attraction you were at but a vortex is a vortex just the tunnel spins not the floor its just an illusion

those things suck.. they have one in my local theme park (kennywood) and it doesnt really do anything btw the ride is noahs ark if you want to search it
