I'm getting rid of the slow 4.3 V6 to make room for the built 5.7!
We find out just how well packed these trucks are,,, (HINT) its pretty tight.

You could have run the same size exhaust all the way from the headers back and it wouldn't have been a restriction

When I installed my 350 in my S10 it was easier to drop in the engine then install the transmission. Otherwise you'll get the oil pan hung up on the engine cross member.

I thought about doing the transmission separately, but then again, I couldn’t really get the engine forward enough to get to those upper bolts. At least this way I don’t have to worry about separating the trans underneath the truck without a transmission jack.

Well, v8 is a WHOLE LOT cheaper than billet crank stroker kit lol. BUT I'll have one for sale when I finish my v8 haha😅😅 Good luck brother, this ought to be good

You need an engine leveler, ive pulled it out its tight but unkess your body mounts are completely crushed down which judging by how they appear to be poly mounts I would say they arent crushed. The leveler is so useful. In my unprofessional opinion lol
