Rise of the Beasts Cheetor: Studio Series Snore 

the cheetah head on his chest was such an integral part of his design, and I don’t get why they decided to omit it.

I can't unsee Cheetor's Rise of the Beasts design sharing DNA with his Beast Machines design. Both have sadness and muscles.

In my opinion, Cheetor is a fun figure I enjoyed. Also, there is a render of Cheetor's robot mode where he is revealed to have the awful chin mouth from Bayverse Prime, only more cat-like.

I honestly think that this Cheetor is simple but effective, but still wished he had more spots. He has a cool spear though, can’t wait for the SS Rhinox though.

Fun fact: the Mainline ROTB Prime does the same thing as the Mainline Cheetor with the wrists (the narcissiwrists are part of the transformation on that one)

I don't understand why people hate this figure, the Cheetah mode that much of a brick, I can get it into some pretty decent pouncing poses. The colors look a lot better in person for me, and I love how clean it is in both modes with how little kibble they have. Studio Series Rhinox is looking to be the all this and more, so i'll be sure to get that when it comes out.

I agree with you on that head sculpt, the color breakup on the face makes him look like a grumpy old man. Actually, with those big grey eyebrows, it reminds me a lot of Walter from Jeff Dunham's stand up comedies. Like, I can just see the yellow on his chin actually moving like a ventriloquist puppet's mouth. "Welcome to Wal-Mart, get your shit and get out."

I'll hunt the mainline Nightbird at some point (closest I could find is August). I was hoping for a Studio Series Nightbird reveal, but no such luck. (And ONLY the Nightbird. I don't want the three pack because that's getting two other figures I don't want (Cheetor & fugly Pablojack) just to get the one figure I do want.)

I usually agree with you on mostly everything, but hard disagree on the posing being "boring". This dude is insanely flexible/dynamic & articulate. You can get him in some super dynamic poses. He's honestly one of my fav figures.

I personally think that Rise of the Beasts Cheetor looks kinda like Transmetal 2 Cheetor. Also, if you move the legs out of the way and try really hard the mainline Cheetor can do a full waist rotation.

So, Between Beer Gut Cheetor and Toaster Rhinox, would you say Mainline is good? Also I sware I heard somewhere they were taking from the Transmetal designs, but I can only see TM3 in the colour

I see these two ROTB Cheetor figures differently. -Studio Series Cheetor gives me live action Tigertron vibe instead. Mainly because the copper like color looks orange, and Tigertron has a orange repaint. The custom paint job 0:56 figure looks more like Cheetor than the official one. Like the dual spear weapons. -Mainline Cheetor looks like the Cheetor from the Cyberverse show was multiverse traveled to the live action universe. The head design mainly gives me that vibe. Like the gut gun and tail weapon. If I had to pick one, it would be the mainline version. As it looks more like Cheetor.

It's kinda cool that studio series doesn't have tail partsforming. The tail looks like a spine for the robot mode. That's my positive comment. I wished this movie had run with the robot designs from the bumblebee movie. It was so cool seeing characters I recognized gracing the silver screen again since I was a kid in 1986.

Great now I'm half tempted to buy Cheetos specifically to find a fix for your problems

I actually really like this design everything about it really appeals to me but I do think that it should’ve been a yellow colour like the original design but I do think that this design doesn’t fit the spirit of Cheetor as this design feels like a older noble tribe warrior and also so far what are your opinions on tf figures this year? Big Cheetor looks like a 90s marvel comic character, big shoulders tiny feet. Single pack Cheetor and 3pk Cheetor feel the same, just checked on my two. If you close the side panels on his collar it looks like a hoodie, and I kind of dig that.

Seems like it. Also, I painted Legacy Tarn’s eyes and I can see why Hasbro didn’t. His eyes are supper sunken in and I broke one of the pegs in his head keeping his face attached. Much like Jetfire, idk if fixing it was worth the trouble this time

What I find odd is the months leading up to this movie there wasn’t any new beast wars MPs announced or released. We’re still missing most of the main cast from season 1 and with a big movie on the way now would be a great time to announce a rhinox, rattrap, or waspinator so older fans can have something good to get

I just got this guy the other day I didn't think he was this bad I quite actually enjoyed him

8:08 Actually, my cyberverse Deluxe Optimus has ball jointed wrists, but I count this as a negative. All the ball joints, including those, are stupidly loose, he can't hold a pose and his hands want to hold in exactly halfway constantly while standing.

I got the solo veraion of mainline cheetor but the plastic doesn't feel that bad for me (or maybe its just coz it aint earthspark plastic)

While not the outcome we wanted I'm glad you reviewed these. Mainline looking fine, shame it has some of those faults. Looks like it gets as much right as it gets wrong, all while styling on the Studio Series figure.

it seems like a theme with the studio series beasts, some of them just have short legs i guess. also its worth noting that its kinda funny how i think even the studio series design is slightly inaccurate, and the movie design, based on recent trailers, is significantly more vibrant and colorful

You missed a step on the mainline cheetor, your supposed to swivel the arm panels to cover up some of the underside, it’s not much and doesn’t fix the visible hands but it’s there, also can I say that mainline Pablo is such a good figure. I really enjoyed almost everything about him

0:16 There can be varying factors to this. For the ROTB figures, less people might be checking out your reviews of them since other people have gotten to them first a month or so before. A prime example of this is PrimeVsPrime. He reviewed the mainline Rhinox only a month ago and that video has 70k views. And he just got the Studio Series Rhinox yesterday, of which the video for that is already sitting at 66k views. Of course part of that might be because PrimeVsPrime has a larger channel. Though that’s not to knock against your channel. Your outlooks on figures is fun and varied instead of regular reviews. But when channels like Prime’s get figures earlier, more people flock to those videos. And when that large portion of people see those first videos, the less will feel the need/want to see others’ reviews of those figures about a month later. In regards to the character bios, your takes on them were fun. But that ultimately depends on how many people actually care about those bios. Another factor for that may be Transformsrs news channels, such as FireBrothers, showing off the bios as they’re first revealed. Another factor may be that people are currently more interested in specific news regarding the movie rather than the figures at the moment. I know every time a new TV spot or info for the movie is released it gets lots of views and lots of comments in response. Now I’m not currently certain which of these factors has more of an impact, or if it’s all of them at once. But I think one way to verify this is a review for ROTB when you’re able to see it, since at least by then there should be the most talk about the movie.

What I think they couldve done to Cheetor's design is slim down his torso and maybe change the head but for the figure I know your not to big on paint but on this figure especially the legs definetly need more paint on that flat surface.

I don’t think his legs are too short, it’s his arms that throw off the proportions thanks to the paws hanging off the wrists making the arms themselves look longer. Someone did a custom of this in a vibrant yellow and it looks sooo much better. I don’t hate this guy, but the colors really drag it down

Oh god you're right. Movie Cheetor is an Ironman/Black Panther fusion. A shame about the deluxe feeling cheap. I was considering that one over the studio series one.

I personally love this figure. It’s super fun to pose! But I can see your view on the colors. I don’t have any problems with the joints on my copy. Nice joints make a MASSIVE difference in a figure

I always thought this guy looked boring not just because of the colors. But OH MY G O D does that custom make him look interesting. I thought it was just the colors, but it actually looks cool that way. Goes to show how much color can mess a design up.

Fortunately, every trailer I've seen shows his actual final design model will be more vibrant and cheetah like. I think they mentioned during SS Rhinox's reveal that some of the ROTB figures arent based on the final designs and that...explains a lot about Cheetor, Airazor and Mirage. Mirage especially.

Which parts of mainline RotB Cheetor are re-used from Kingdom Cheetor?

I actually like the studio series cheetor and the mainline equally but Ik the struggle of the viewers my channel isn’t getting as many views as I want it to and the likes are is the single and double digits and I’m losing the motivation but good vid and can’t wait for rise of the beast
