The Rise movie’s looking absolutely amazing, finally seeing future Casey Jones or maybe Casey 2 is just brilliant! The Kraang also feel like much larger threats than their 2012 counterparts on power base levels, 2012 Kraang tech included. Literally can’t wait for this to release on the 5th of August and to see finally see the four turtle brothers completely rise and finish their journey of becoming the heroes they were always meant to be!

5 things I like about this trailer: 1. The opening was actually pretty good. 2. Actual serious moments 3. Leo struggling as the new leader. 4. The Krang are back this time as a family now (?) 5. Future Casey actually looks badass.

THIS MOVIE LOOKS EPIC!! I always liked rise and even though it started off really goofy it was becoming better with each episode especially the second season. I personally had faith in it but people just couldn’t be patient enough. I will definitely be on the lookout for this movie though.

It certainly looks a lot darker; the possible "future" kind of reminds me of The Last Ronin comics, as well as the Raphael Mutant Apocalypse arc from the 2012 show.

I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS MOVIE. There's a line in this movie that makes me wonder if they're gonna reference the turtle multiverse or turtles forever. "Time to make this *universe* into the image of krang." Whether or not they do nod to it, i'm still hyped for this movie. The animation is so phenomenal

Looking forward to this movie. I wonder if they're going to have nods to the 2003 series' episode Same As It Never Was at some point in the movie? I really love how the creators give nods to the previous incarnations like the '87 series with the Channel 6 news van and the Kraang being the name of an entire alien race like in the 2012 series. This is going to be a treat to, not only Rise of the TMNT fans, but TMNT fans in general.

Well considering they meet April before the big bads come about, perhaps they saved her from just getting robbed by some dudes- hence why they're so big on being heroes now? Or maybe she found them on accident on their first day out of the sewer, they all freaked out, but one of them starts acting r stupid about not letting her leave just yet and she realizes "wait these guys are harmless dorks-" and they make some deal abt her not revealing them to the public but in turn she introduces them to things abt the world- like pizza, thrill seeking, etc- I'm kinda hoping it's a mix of these options actually

There is a lot (I'm hoping) still left out of the movie. Of course you don't want to give everything away in a trailer. Absent is Drax and everything Yokai and I'm hoping this is the studio hiding some of their hand back. One thing that disappointed me in the conclusion of the show was the lack of friendly faces coming in to help the turtles in the final confrontation, driving home the theme of family, loyalty and honor- characters such as Piebald, Franken-foot and Todd. I am hoping to see the extended list of characters show up and not just shyly reserved to discarded ideas

Funny how they put Laird's name even though he only owns about 5% of the rights he used to have to TMNT. But a nice nod, nonetheless. The only similarity this Krang has is to the 2013 TMNT where there's a whole race called Krang. And them bringing the Krang that way is....a nod to the second Michael Bay movie with it's Technodrome coming to earth.

I'm actually glad that all for the turtles in this version have fourth wall awareness don't get me wrong when I say this but every character that has dealt with a multiverse should have fourth wall awareness because the fourth wall is what you break and pass through to go to another universe it is almost always the universal barrier.

@@Artryom i don't think Leo getting leader role was a fix but more a planned change in the series, as its well known he's SUPPOSED to be leader, they kept showing how Raph struggles to get a plan as leader which is p important, he kept being shown as the one who was best in combat and not a leader role even if he is the eldest. Leo at least in like, some episodes before gets shown he could be a good leader but just chooses to be lazy since he isn't- like a piece of him is kinda missing so he's just vibin

I really hate how a lot of rise haters misunderstood the concept of rise a lot because it was more light-hearted than the previous ones. im so excited! I wonder if there is going to be a gag about "but this is Casey Jones *pointing to Cassandra*". Its a shame we couldn't get a full length series, but I am very excited for the movie and im going to make the best of it! I hope nothing super sad happens and they are able to prevent the apocalypse, because lemme tell you, when the 2012 series decided to make it canon that the world ended in an apocalypse, I didn't recover for a week. edit: also! looking closer at the frame with old Leo, it appears he is wearing both Raph's and Donnie's headbands on his wrist, one is just covering the other a little bit but you can see the red behind the purple. Also! the old Mikey is very similar to the old Mikey in the 2012 apocalypse episode, with his crazy looking appearance and weird hair.

I always feel so mixed about RISE. It's definitely not my favorite adoptation of the brothers, but I cannot *not* like the adoptation, since it's TMNT.. it's impossible to dislike TMNT 😍 Can't really say what I think of the movie yet, but I know for sure I'll be watching it. And based on the trailer, the movie has some of the elements I love the most about the Turtles. So I'm looking forward to it with anticipation.👌

@@ItsMinnowSeason Rise Donnie’s just flat out great! He sort of felt like the Raph of the Rise turtles, he demonstrated a few of Raph’s core aspects as well. Feeling like the odd one out, not feeling needed and always fighting with his brothers. The best part though is that he would always come back to them just like Raph.

The powers that the Krang displayed are truly frightening. Have you seen what happened to the Foot Clan? Nightmare fuel. Not to mention their insidious mastery in science and magic could possibly mean that they are the destroyers talked about in the prophecy, not Shredder.

Was it just me or were the other turtles a bit harsh to Donnie at the end of the trailer ? Isn’t putting a tracking device on them useful just in case they get lost ?

Yeah, but thinking about this. If i found out that my sibling do something without telling, i would be upset, disappoint, mad. Well, typical sibling interaction. Also, tmnt usually being harsh on donnie being nerd? Right? Or am i remember it wrong

Not a big fan of rise style don't really like the slapstick cartoon but the movie looks solid.

well.... technically the cartoon started out a a slapstick but with each episide it slowly decended in more lore and seriousness whule srill keeping the comedy

@triforian king well true- the show does indeed have it quirks- while i still respect your opinion...personally i like this show and the 2003 and 2012 versions and i feel like the will improve off of the 2018 series and will promise us that through this movie- cause im honestly down to see how it turns out

@triforian king yeah i also liked that. It was really cool they did that small pararell to 2003 version of TMNT- another thing i like is that here in the movie trailer they made the Krang more of an actual creepy manace to the world in comparison to the other versions of the krang...and the body horror when they control someone is such a cool detail
