🌇 RISING SONS: Episode 9 Join us with O2 Inside Line as Ben Youngs gives you an exclusive insight into England's preparations for Friday's Quilter Internationals clash against Italy.
Amazing as always. Thank you England keep up your awesome work! Ben Young’s is definitely England’s best media man and has been for a long time. Glad to see him doing more interviews etc. You will struggle to find a more humble, honest, and articulate rugby player in my opinion, and evidence of that was his short post match interview to Sky after the second Welsh warmup. Top work guys!
Great insight, most men/women into their sport would love to be apart of something like this imo. England looking strong just don't get too cocky. Scotland fan btw.
It's great to see the Boys in full training & they do seem to be Jelling well. If you lads want to do some hard work for me at my cottage in South Wales as well.!!!!!! So looking forward to the WC this time I will make sure I don't spent it in the Hospital for the month.
Hopefully we'll see Youngs pick up much more sharpness than he had last week. Great video and really interesting insights, but I'm watching Youngs with a sincere hope he's looking to improve himself after the Ireland game
Having watched all the episodes so far and having seen the resources that the RFU have at their disposal, it's scandalous that England aren't more successful than they are.
To win it they will have 5 big games in a row. Good luck you will need some. The team is looking amazing. Great looking squad. Hopefully if you play us (nz) in semi, you get a red card lol. I don't fancy our chances if its 15 v 15.
@@jamess3408 yes. I think this England team is better than last year. They look really fit, and have depth to cover the inevitable injuries that will come. If we beat the boks, a big if, then assuming we get past the quarter, we will probably face England in semi. That will be a cracking game if we get there. England is shaping up to be a scary opponent. However, England need to win 5 big games in a row to be crowned champs. Arguably they have the toughest overall draw of anyone, possibly even in the history of the tournament. If England do it they would have won the toughest RWC tournament to date.
Ben Youngs isn't a dumb player. He's got a pretty good sense of when to run, pass and kick, has plenty of experience making decisions with Leicester and England usually being dominant packs. He had a bad game last time but his bad games are pretty rare.
@@dbjmk8083 You must be joking or you're Ben Youngs's mum. He's been hopeless for years. Nobody can work out why he's being picked for England. He's not even the best 9 in Leicester, a club that finished second from bottom in the league. The best an England fan can hope for when Youngs plays is that he doesn't make too many howlers, hope that he actually plays well have long since past.
Emgee you are a fucking idiot. Ben Young’s is the best we have by a country mile. Great passer, runner, brave, and is probably the most intelligent back. I will ignore any stupid comment you reply back with, because as we have already established, you are a fucking idiot 😂😊👍🏻
@@jamesdavies25 Oh come on mate. A LOT of England fans are worried that Eddie has pinned his hopes on Youngs and a relative novice in Heinz. To be honest ,heinz has actually looked more at home in the 9 shirt.
The scrum half position seems to be the only concern for jones at the moment with Heinz being new to the mix and Young’s being inconsistent as seen against Ireland. Besides that every other position looks extremely strong.
Box kicking Ben needs to stop box kicking.Giving possession away and allowing the opposition to run at you.. Northern hemisphere, wet pitches works but against southern teams I believe will not work!
Did Eredi Pisano meet you and showcase their newest collection on your remigration to Treviso following your emigration departure from Treviso to England? Could have. Considering the camaraderie of England Rugby’s roster, the exclusive advertisements the players receive are a result of the appealed, catered to and babied: vanity; egotism and senses of personal insecurity of England Rugby's players. Missed for Nordica Skis while there?
I can't imagine that more money has ever been thrown at a rugby team, anything less than a dominant finals victory will be a total failure. The spare change from the recent England build-up could easily fund Samoa, Tonga and Fiji for an entire World Cup cycle.
Fund Samoa and you fund an entire WC cycle of misappropriation by the committee and prime minister.. Tens of millions have just disappeared with no accountability, and refusal to answer world rugby's requests for dispersion of funds given to them..
@@kenrehill8775 it's not just the players. All the money given by world rugby for elite performance facilities and coaching, grass roots rugby, junior playing and coaching facilities etc just disappeared into some big black hole.. the Samoan RFU have twice been summoned by World rugby, and twice not turned up.. when Samoa RFU declared itself bankrupt they had just been given nearly 3 million dollars, and still no one knows where the money went..
I agree, we shouldn’t be funding any corrupt organisations and direct funding players in these countries may be the answer. However, my comment was more on the MASSIVE disparity in resources with excess in the England camp (and maybe some other tier 1 nations). Meanwhile, countries like Tonga with amazing talent are running campaigns on a budgets that are a joke. Some players have had to pay their own international airfares for test matches.
That's a fair comment, the grounds will be hard and fast. I think England have a very good mix of larger more muscular players and lighter faster players actually. The beauty is we will wait and see.
What happens if Billy gets injured? Pretty much zero plan B. Relying on one or two bosh merchants (Billy and Manu) who have historically always been injured doesnt make much sense to me. Some pretty inexperienced and obscure players waiting in the wings should the front-line players go down.
powerbite92 mate eddies built up a whole squad of big ball carriers, we re not as reliant on billy as we were a few years ago. Now we got mako/Genge, Sinckler, Itoje and Cokanasiga. And curry and Underhill has massively improved there carrying.
Billy V and Tuilagi have been injured for much of the past 2-4 years, so England won't be relying just on them. Wilson can play 8 and Lawes, Itoje, Sinckler, Genge, Cokanasiga, George can all carry hard, as Ireland found out.
If there was a Ben Morgan style player on the bench I wouldnt mind but I dont see Wilson and Marchant/ Slade slotting in to the same game plan. I'd be quite happy if I was proved wrong, its just that people have been saying for years that England struggle without Billy and from that perspective this squad hasnt solved that problem. I hope they do well.
