Not gonna lie, I thought you were crazy when you were talking about the voice chat issues. Then, one day, I had just quit a game of rs2 and took my headphones off (they are open eared so I still hear them if I take them off) and went to the bathroom. I get back and hear multiple people whispering in the corner of my room near my desk and, more importantly, my closet. I proceed to nearly shit myself until I realize one of the voices is screaming something about never giving up their rice.
Players who rarely use MG class, always try to get used to the bipod. It improves your accuracy, plus you has the classic zoom in ironsight from previous game (hurray). Your playstyle might be a little difference when frequently using bipod but it worth it when find a sweet spot, where enemy are busy advancing and got mow down.
The L2A1 is my favourite MG because you get plenty of extra ammo and it’s super adaptable. M1919 and RP-46 come in 2nd for feeling like actual LMGs and still being good.
L2A1 for overall use. The DP don't know the number but the beltfed one, i use it to snipe at 300+ meters on FireBase Gergina, i also use the other DP with the Disc mag for long range accuracy shooting. The Bar for nostalgia, back in the days when i Player CoDUO, CoD2 and CoDWaW. The m60, i rather take a shotgun or my thrusty m16.
I personally love the DP-28 because it's almost as versitile as the L2A2 from Australians but when on bipods it's fairly easy to use it to snipe (An Lao Valley for example) it's easy to snipe people coming out from B and going towards C and then on D too, just place down a tunnel behind E and start sniping them and suppressing the masses with quick one taps all around (this way you get a really good usage of the few ammo you have and you still suppress everybody)
I thought I was the only one who liked that gun! I really appreciate the accuracy... They say that real men snipe with shotguns... Well guess what! I SNIPE WITH THE RP-46!
I'm using the drums because I need the extra ammo. When I'm flanking I don't have access to ammo crates so I need everything I can get. Of course it would be best if my teammates would give me their carried ammo but for some reason next to nobody does that.
@@EcchiRevenge So what it is? a HMG is defined as: large-Caliber rounds, anti-material capable and too heavy to be transported, the LMG can be carried ans used by only one man, not too powerful and less capable for anti-material uses.
Pro tip for lmgs (and some other weapons) increase the range of the weapons. For example i always set the range for the m60 at 1000 m. The bullets will hit above the iron sight which makes it easier to follow targets and give you clear vision. Especially when you go full auto and the muzzleflash clouds your vision. It basically turns your m60 sight into a primitive holographic sight. Lets face it its an lmg, you arent going to take precise single shots most of the time. I apply this to a bunch of other weapons for that matter to great effect.
after watching this video of yours, i bought it and played for 10 hours in one day. in my opinion this game is the best worth playing in 2021. because it is very realistic and in my opinion this game is better than COD and BF
When I started playing the game, for a year or so i only ever played MG class with a run and gun style, and as someone who usually plays the South, which means I pretty much always have to use the M60, it made me pretty useless in any situation where the enemy was far enough that hip fire wasn't viable but aiming took too long. And that happened a hell of a lot more than one might expect, like it made up almost all of my MG class deaths.
The box mag option for belt fed LMGS does have an advantage in sustained fire because the belt has 200 rounds. The box magazines have 100 rounds each, and you get 3, so having 300 rounds instead of 200 can be advantagoeus. My favorite MG so far is the BAR, its .30-06 springfield rounds are devastating and its alt fire is a 3 round burst, which is just amazing. It functions more like a rifle (thats what it is essentially, a full auto rifle that shoots large high velocity rounds), so for attacking its especially useful. Main downfall being mediocre ironsights in game and low ammo capacity (granted you carry a decent amount of mags). Machine guns are great
30-06 is just as powerful as 7,62x51. 7,62 is just a shortened 30-06 with more modern powder for increased reliability in automatic weapons and less bulk with similar ballistic performance. 30-06 CAN be loaded hotter than 7,62x51 but that’s modern hunting ammo, not ww2 fmj military ball
yeah the BAR and the DP28/DPM are definately my preferred MG's. DP28 with the pan mags is a little lacking compared to the other options but its far from unusable you just have to learn to play with the 47 round pans. also the BAR and browning both use .30-06(thirty ought six)
What happened to your promised upcoming vid on Transport pilots? I'm born-again FNG and will be playing plenty of grunt games before I consider focusing on my "ambition" on straight up Transport Pilot. Your vids are awesome. Transport vid, though man! :) P.S - When and why did voice-chat become a problem? It's always been the very last thing to have a problem. The game demands voice-chat! It's practically unplayable w/out voice-chat. What's the point of an MMO w/out voice-chat!!!!!?
yeah I basically got bullied out of not doing it cause admitingly i'm not the best pilot, well combat pilot that is I'm alright as a transport pilot, I will try and make that video soon, but I want to talk to other experienced pilots first to get their knowledge. But thank you :) ,the voice chat was perfectly fine until they had to change it to vivox? because it had to be like that for Epic games, once it was made free to play voice chat went down hill from there

Something about Epic Games doesn't feel right which makes me want to keep my distance. I mean, if they already screwed up voice-chat just by merely existing - i'll stick w/ my gut on that, Haha. I'll have re-acquaint mysel w/ Infantry again before I start going straight up - Transport pilot any way, but I look forward to the upcoming vid! Thanks for the reply, man! I was in the US Marines in real life and have fired all different kinds of weapons, and I have to be honest while this game gets alot of things right, to me LMG's are overall underpowered compared to other weapons. The different is in real life an lmg typically has a 2 or 3 man team to operate it as opposed to just 1 man, and usually there's a guy who's job it is just to be am ammo.bearer and loader. LMG teams in real life are far more dangerous than any single guy with an lmg in a video game. I would prefer if this game (or a sequel) had an additional class based on an ammo bearer that got points for loading and spotting for an lmg gunner, much like the radio class assists the commander.
Hey to answer your ammo question I'm American and from what i know there is some ammo that is for military and some that is for civilian use that is for riffles for instance the 2.23 and 5.56 are parity much the same round though the 5.56 is is used on the m-4 where the 2.23 is on the AR there pity much the same though and for pistols some use caliber some use millimeter it usually depends on the company that makes the gun for instance .45 ACP verses 9mm. not all of the time but most of the time if it is an American round it is in caliber where foreign tends to be in millimeter. think of it as metric vs imperial system of measurement. there are some acceptations.
M60 is the best, it's not even close. Most controllable high damage lmg with the highest rpm. All I do is rush with it and have the bipod retracted 95% of the time. I think players spray too much with it and throw off their aim. You really should be killing with first couple shot, M14 style, which makes sense considering they do the same damage. I will agree that the RP46 is the best northern machine gun and second best overall. The Browning is probably the worst due to it's clunkiness and it's extreme recoil when shooting without the bipod, which is the shitty BAR slow animation bipod. I've used it a bunch and even had high killing games, but it just sucks. Just shows you how different opinions are about the meta in this old game.
@@Tantwo the game wouldn’t display servers with the epic games version so I bought it on steam and it workers now. As for the epic games version I tried it on my laptop and it worked lmao. I literally tried everything to fix it on my pc but I guess money was the only solution. And yeah now my voice chat doesn’t work but it’s fine if I can use the servers discord.
