In this video I explain what is the best AK47 in rising storm 2 Vietnam according to my opinion

The most impressive thing about the AKs is they actually have accurate finish. The Chinese Type 56 was blued, while the russian AKM was painted. The Type 56 in game has weathered blueing, and you can see the paint has been chipped on the AKM.

@I_Commission_DSPriscilla_Art Russian AKM’s are stamped, that’s why they have the “M” it means modern, non Milled AK. North Vietnam received Korean type 58’s and Chinese type 56’s which at the time were both milled

@I_Commission_DSPriscilla_Art alright bud, didn’t really know what you were informing me of so I just provided some info lol. But yea sure, most pictures I’ve seen are milled Type 56’s however. In game it would’ve been cool to have a milled AK in early campaign and then when it gets late war you get the Russian stamped AK’s imo

Yeah. The AKM have some upgrade and would be a replacement for the AK-47. The Soviet needed an AK rifle lighter and it’s stamped so it have a new muzzle brake for controllable fire and accuracy. At least it may produce in larger numbers since it’s lighter and easier to produce.

Okay. Well I mean it’s useful. About some information I saw in the Wikipedia or one of the videos. The Type 56 isn’t reliable enough for the PLA since they need to replace it but no options but stick to their own AK till the early 80s. The Type 56 which I don’t like, which is not my favorite but the receiver is milled like the AK-47 from the Soviet does, but heavy different from the AKM which is stamped and lighter and a new muzzle brake to increase accuracy for controllable fire.

AKM - well allrounder. It's *OK* for all distances and situations VC soldier can find himself in, and i'd say that it suits better for more active types of players with need of accurate full-auto dakka. Type 56, on the other hand, is good only in semi-auto due to it's high recoil. Chinese version is better for long range engagements because of it's *slightly* better accuracy, but it also shreds people in super CQC due to it's faster fire rate.

I found interesting that during the Type 56 weapons the Chinese hymn is played but with the AKM is the Soviet Union hymn, nice detail! BTW is the game still on beta or is already done?

@@Tantwo I'll think about it, mostly because this modern type of games are too much for my old computer that I got in 2012, I once bought Dead Island definitive edition and Jurassic World Evolution deluxe edition but both games didn't work on my computer. I was asking if the game was in Beta because most of the footage from RU-vid shows a watermark saying is on beta, I'm hoping to see the AKMS. And if you don't know, the AKMS is the paratrooper version of the AKM but just like Type 56-1 it has a collapsible stock, and let me tell it looks wonderful and beautiful!!

The bayonets does reduce recoil by 3%.

AKM is the AK version in this game. It’s more accurate than the Chinese AKs in full auto. But M16A1 is the best. P/s: the background music make me feel sick.

Type 56 is best AK. Dial it up to 600 meters and aim with the top of the front hood. Easy accurate shooting at range and up close! I like the sights, rivets, and ribbed dust cover on the AKM, but that 600 meter trick is hard with the sight wings instead of a full hood. Also, the 56 has a more practical bayonet (less weight out front = more stable aiming than AKM with bayo. Folding is also a tiny bit faster than removable I think).

@@Tantwo When I played a lot you used to be able to use the AKM on every map but they changed it to only let PAVN use it which I think is only PROOF of the AKM being better, since it is now team restricted, so most of my playtime was with the AKM for both teams anyway (I almost only play northern forces). The change in accuracy and recoil makes a big difference for longer engagements, especially now that most kills are two shot. And the rifle firing more slowly does help me with bursts too, but that's just my preference. But, I will say that they made up for NLF lacking the AKM with the godly MAS-49, that thing is amazing.

98% of the time is RS2 you should be using semi automatic fire. Making the first heaviest AK the best. In conclusion. I disagree with everything in this video

I can almost never get kills with the type 56. It's recoil is way too high. The AKM is great though.

Honestly i kind of dont feel eny different with the different AKs, I use the foldy boy AK just becous it feels better in CQB and if I’m not in close range then I use semi auto, so I think it’s the best, tho the stock looks(and is known for) being not very good

Im p sure vertical recoil is just the vertical recoil. RPM is rounds per minuet and is how fast the gun shoots. Velocity is used to determine what the Bullet can penetrate and how much damage. And horizontal sawy is just horizontal recoil i think.

Pretty sure the AKM is less accurate than the Type 56, as reported by the person who compiled all of the weapon stats. Though their document seems to have some things that are clearly errors, I'm still quite sure it's true. Having an already incredibly inaccurate gun MORE inaccurate really hurts

going off the top of my head the AKM has a better MOA, but pretty sure the wiki is outdated, either way I like to use the Type 56 folded because it looks cool

@@Tantwo I'm referring to the person who made a stats sheet as a Steam guide, I've never looked at a wiki for this game. It says the AKM has a worse MOA of 4.93, compared to the Type 56's 4.47. Again, the sheet makes a few mistakes here and there (TT-33 doing less damage than the PM) but I do believe this can be true, but it's kinda a hard thing to test I think

I'm really new to the game. Every server I join on doesn't have the AKM available as a variant for the basic rifleman, is there something I'm doing wrong?
