Oh i really hope this helps! Just please make sure your printer is okay with you organizing the pages in booklet order for them! If you are printing by yourself then no problem!
If you are printing at home, i actually print a 12-page zine in this tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EkPpr5if5hw.html not sure if its helpful to you!!
Really great tutorial. I haven’t used photoshop at all to be honest so it was great to see this. You pretty much answered it at the end but just to confirm, some printers may want you to do this layout for each colour layer?
Ah thank you! Photoshop isn't really ideal. It's hard to add and move pages around compared to Indesign but if artists already have everything ready to go and just want a quick last minute template, it might be faster than learning to use an entirely new software (Indesign). Yes, I've seen some riso printers that just want you to tell them print *this as side A, and *this as side B. I've also been sent and printed this type of formatting before. With Riso, you have to tell it exactly what to print. I think laser printing houses like Staples and Xerox have their own imposition software that they use but for small printers like me, all we have is whatever Adobe software and riso printer drivers we have installed in our (usually Windows) machines!
Hi, I enjoy your video and found it helpful. I gotta say... The frequent ads are a little much. Either way I got good information off of this and other videos youve made. i respect your drive and knowledge for print/riso. thanks
