Rite Aid Closing In New Castle, PA. Bankruptcy has hit this pharmacy chain as hundreds of locations have or are closing around the country. This one still had a lot of merchandise at the time of my visit. I wish the employees the best as the two I spoke with didn't know what they would be doing once the store closes. There was another Rite Aid location a couple of miles away but that location closed as well. Hope everyone affected find something even better and prosper.

I think this is the first time I have seen a video of a closing one. I probably have seen a Rite Aid before (used to be near me, especially in Colorado), but I don't remember partly because it would've been so long ago if I did.

We just had one close by us, in Greensburg at Greengate Centre. I hate seeing these close.

My Rite aid has closed their pharmacist part. everything 50-70% Off Store closes May 16th.

We loved this video. We love all of your videos. Our Rite Aid has been closed for years. A Dollar General is there now. Any way. We just want you to know how much fun you bring to us every weekend. We love to play catch up on your videos. We loved the Moon Pie part. LOL we need more down to earth. Humble people like you in our world. We live in Pickaway County. My Rite Aid closed down back in November and I miss working there. it was close to my home so I walk to work everyday and my co workers are like family, worked there for 6 years and it was a great small store for our regular customers since I live in a small town.

I know Rite Aid very well some of them closed or Converted To Walgreens took over Rite Aid in 2018.

My store in Lebanon, was one of the first, because it was one of the many that were strikes (the place had a old logo, to show how early it closed)

Rite Aid just might be going the way of Kmart and Sears. Sad to see so many different places closing lately..Rite Aid nearest me is still open but then it's just a few hundred yards from CVS we'll see what happens

You ever going to be in the Cambride Ohio area again? My town. Originally from Mckeesport PA. Years ago, you did a video post of the Kmart and gas station. It's now a Rural King, Marshalls, and Bella's. You got me started to look and find shut down and abandond places. There is so much history and stories that intrigue me. I'm always looking forward to you next post and travels.

I have been to Rite Aid twice, once in Boise Idaho once in Baker City Oregon I found a cool toy for my nephew at the Baker City store (last summer) Love the moon pie scene by the way, glad that you picked up a few

If only I were in the New Castle area, I would buy one of those shopping carts! I could certainly use one of those here in Chicago. And you got quite a deal. $103 for that whole cart! Just curious: where in NC were you going for breakfast? I have family in the area, so I have some familiarity with the local restaurants.

I went to Traverse City, MI, an hour south where I lived, last week when I noticed a Burger King on Front Street that closed and today I looked at Google Maps it shows it is permanently closed. Also two out the four Rite Aids are permanently closed, too. So whenever you come to Traverse City Michigan, check out the two Rite Aids and the Burger King.

I have seen the one in Pennsauken New Jersey close out. No biggie. They just couldn’t afford to stay open. So they MOVED. Do some research guys.

Cool Video! My local rite aid (which I have never gone to) Is not closing. Probably because it is the only pharmacy in town. There is no walgreens or Cvs. also did you know that Albertsons tried to buy Rite Aid? I thought that was cool

Rite aid here in Vinton Virginia closed when I was a kid. Turned into a Family Dollar 10 years later then 3 years later Fanily Dollar closed and the building has been closed since

Duane Reade is a subsidiary of Walgreens. So technically the pharmacy world is duopoly now.

The 99 cents stores are closing so a shopping channel found someone who looks similar to wallieb26 to go with them, not sure if the 99 for them is like Kmart for wallieb26
