LOL, I just finished Ori and the Blind Forest. I still don't know why they don't sell good ori plushies, he looks 100% huggable.

First a Tower of Heaven crossover, now Ori? What's next: Dust, Arrah, & Fidget from Dust: An Elysian Tale? Actually that would be pretty dope and awesome.

God Ori and the Blind Forest was such a good game.

Although not as popular of an opinion, I think Dust from Dust: an Elysian Tail would be a great fit for Rivals of Aether as well. If Ori happened, it could happen as well.

What have we learned? ONLY EXCALIBUR HAS THE POWER TO DEFEAT ORI.

I WILL LITERALLY START PLAYING THIS GAME AGAIN SOLELY FOR ORI I AM SO HAPPY Ori and the Blind Forest is my all-time favorite game and I would have never, EVER expected something like him in a smash-esque game. To think, of all the characters that could've been added, that ORI was the one was added to a game like Rivals. Bless you, based developers.

Ori just fits so well in rivals form a character design stand point. If there are other indie characters that would fit as well as he does, then I'm completely unaware of them. Except maybe dust, but then again there is what's clearly a fidget skin for ori so close enough, I guess.

I was literally playing Ori and the blind forest yesterday

Every time i complete a dungeon in Ori I feel pretty cool. I just wish it was even faster paced. Like an intense rhythm reaction game.

I've watched this video a lot because im hella excited for Ori and I've just realized, the U-Air is Cloud's U-Air!

Since Ori is my favourite game of all time, I screamed when I saw him in Rivals...

As for a second indie character, I think Hollow Knight would be an awesome addition N-B: Soul projectile. Fires a shot of soul energy that damages and goes through enemies. Side-B: Crystal launch. Use the power of crystals to launch yourself forward, damaging enemies on impact and providing effective horizontal recovery. Charge for greater speed and/or power Up-B: Soul Fury. Unleash a fan of soul energy that reaches out above you and covers a wide area. Down-B: Soul slam. Slam into the ground and release a wave of soul energy. Enemies caught at the epicenter receive the most damage, while those caught in the outward wave receive minimal damage but are knocked away from you. And maybe to coincide with the dark abilities you can acquire in Hollow Knight, if you are over a certain percentage, the soul based moves will become their dark variants and do more damage, kind of like Lucario and his aura mechanic

ORI IN RIVALS?! This is AWESOME!!

Ori reminded me of Yoshi, Captain Falcon, Peach, and Rosalina and Luma because of how its projectile, up air, recovery, and character functionality compare to each character respectively.

It's amazing that they could get Ori.

I'm still holding out for Dust, from "Dust: An Elysian Tail." Dan Fornace actually worked on that game, so it's well within the realm of possibility. Besides, it's been forever since Dust took the world by storm (by Dust Storm!) so it's about time we get some representation from some relatively early indie games. Regardless, I'm so impressed by Ori making it in! I'm looking forward to seeing what else our friend Dan has in store for us!

The victory picture is a false representation. Ori has little hooves, not paws. Although he is a lot cuter with little paws.
