The Gillette Castle! 148 West? Deep River to Chester? Wasn’t Richard Sachs in Chester CT back in the day? I remember the first time I saw one of his pro bikes, in the late 70s. Great channel. I’m back in South East coastal CT after decades btw NYC and LA. And the only bike I’ve got right now is a Columbus genius/Tange Dr. Doi keirin frame with airbrushed white lightning paint job. One of the last ones he built before his heart attack. Rolling on 40+ yr old Campagnolo pista w/ Mavic 36h GP4 early 80s rims. Exactly what I used all throughout the 80s and early 90s (with Clements). I’m looking around for a medium sized steel bike for my own Connecticut gravel rides. Great channel. Subscribed.

I like the way the lugs are accented with the cream paint. Need to do the same on my Reynolds 531 lugged bike, but what colour goes with yellow?
