Thanks for your videos, I’d been waiting for this after the last one where you took the clem out to the country. I’ve got my eye on a 59 in lime olive ,your build looked superb 😊
Nice build! Clem is my favorite. Although, you have to keep it dirty. In my opinion Riv’s look much nicer well used. For two years of ownership, it still looks like it came fresh out the box.
Don’t worry, it has been on plenty of rides getting dirty. I just like to keep my bikes clean, especially since the roads recently have been gritted for all the snow we had.
I feel like that a lot of the time, I’d always rather be riding my bike. Yes, it is Crescent Down Works. Well spotted. Korean winters are brutal but a full down parka was too bulky for riding. This vest is perfect.
I recently stumbled upon your channel have been delightfully inspired by your videos. I’ve had my clem for almost year and love it for the same kinds of rides. BUT, I’ve got lots of chain slap going on… have you had any issues?
Thanks for the thought. Upon replacing my chain I realized that my 11 tooth cog was stripped and the chain was about 4 links longer than the park tool +1 method. The switch to a larger cog and possibly shorter chain has helped. But it will always be heavily wrapped in newbaums…
Love the video, I was wondering how long are you able to ride your bike in an upright position? And are you comfortable for long periods? Do you prefer upright or drop bars?
I prefer upright bars. 3 out of 4 of my bike have them. For much longer rides, I’d have the bars lower which is why quill stems are great. for this kind of chilled ride, they’re comfy up that high.
nice bike, thanks for the video! sorry for the late reply, but can you tell me more about the ghost flower that you mention at 1:35 ? I can't find any information about them anywhere!
This is wonderful. I’m in Japan and would love to get that bell. Could you tell me the name again, and where you got it please? I couldn’t quite make out the name
lovely lugs! But that wheelbase/rear chainstay is bananas long :O Does it feel slow to get up to speed? I like my chainstays rather short-ish (in the 425cm-ish range)
Feels good enough to me. As long as I’m not entering any races! I’ve got a few different bikes for different riding. This is the one I usually choose for my commutes.
Hey Marcus, how tall are you and what's your pbh ? I understand you bought it that size so you and your partner can ride it but thats alot of exposed stem and seatpost i kinda dig the look
177cm tall with 85cm pbh. Upper end height for 52cm Clem and lower end for 59cm. The bars are about as high as they can go but I’m super upright. Sometimes I put them lower. The saddle has a bit more room before its limit.
@@probablyriding watch and enjoy all your videos. Very interested in your idea of getting your wife on the Clem. Is it just a matter of lowering seat post and stem or replace with shorter stem & bar to preserve handlebar tape?
