@@jamiesanglingchannel they all count big little fat skinny they all count As anglers I sometimes think we become obsessed by weight But I am glad to catch fish In the 80s 90s I became obsessed with carp angling this bait that special hook flurocarbon braids critically balanced rigs If it was under twenty pound it was looked down upon and it all takes the fun out of fishing I still have a go for the carp now and again on my local canal and the buzz is back I don't have to book I am not limited for time No bait bans No assholes my rods better than your rod You need this that and the other or you can't catch carp ffs the tackle companies love us anglers I love nothing better than just my lure rod couple of lures unhooking mate and net I find it exiting Out for a couple of hours good walk and if I'm lucky a couple of fish don't care how big the are as long as they pull my string Even better when you see a fish hit the lure Wow bang what a buzz That's what it's all about for me

Hi just a quick question about yourself Hollinrake is not a common name, i knew some Hollinrake,s that lived on Thornbank drive in Catterall nr Garstang back in the 70/80s there was a Dave and a Steve i think ? i think Dave did a bit of fishing with our neghbour at the time Allan Billington ? if my memory serves me well they lived near a family called Maxwell ? Dave was a bit older than me and i was chatting to some one who lived on thornbank drive a few month ago and the name Hiooinrake was mentioned would you be any relation here ??
