Pretty much my favorite part of the episode. From the episode "The Impossible Astronaut," Series 6, episode 1. I own no rights to anything in this video.
@sgrib03 It sounds like a nightmare, doesn't it? Completely terrifying. But don't worry about not seeing it right away; it's apparently supposed to have a cliff-hanger that will drive us insane all summer. So at least you'll have put off insanity for a little while. :P
@EmmaJaneMurdock I haven't seen much, but they're on itv3 sometimes, the tom baker episodes with sarah jane were on after elisabeth sladen died, and some came free in the daily mail or the sun or something haha but not any others. i want to though, theres probably some on youtube haha :L x
@EmmaJaneMurdock yes!! i've heard a lot of people say they didn't like it, why?! I loved that the tardis is really cheeky and stuff, and when amy and rory were in those corridors o.O that was scary, especially when 'kill amy' was written all over the walls XO xx
@sgrib03 He's trying to ruin our sanity, that's what! :P Here's a quote I found: "The upcoming episode is 'disturbing' and ends on a 'revelation so huge - everyone will need the summer to digest it...'"
@sgrib03 Yeah, that was really sad! :'( But you know, she doesn't really die at the end of Forest of the Dead. She gets stuck in the computer, and the Doctor can do so many things with a computer...This gives me hope. :)
@sgrib03 Yes, wasn't he cute in that scene? First it looks like he's gonna cry, and then he just giggles. Matt is a really great actor; he can express so much with his face. :D
@EmmaJaneMurdock haha yes! at first i thought river was his mother haha :L v.clever writing there, i think a lot of people thought the same XD and the way he just laughs and is all jumpy is hilarious. i cant wait till the autumn either, so exiting XD x
@sgrib03 I can definitely recommend them. They're a little different to the new series, but once you get used to them they're absolutely brilliant. And yes, I think there are some on RU-vid. :)
@sgrib03 Aw, Eccleston doesn't get enough love! But I have to say that I agree with you. ^.^ Tennant and Smith are definitely in my top favorites! Have you ever seen the classic series? Cause I also really like Troughton and McCoy. :D
@sgrib03 People will always hate on things that are different. I LOVED it. The Tardis was the perfect combination of cheeky and sweet, and I loved the little things like how she called him "her thief." So cute! And the episode was a perfect blend of hilarious and sad, but with a lovely, positive ending. Overall, this could very well be my favorite episode so far!
@sgrib03 Yeah, when Doctor Who does creepy, it does it well... :D And the eyepatch lady, I don't have any good theories on her. Like you said, completely random; not enough to go on yet. But knowing Steven Moffat, I know she'll end up being really interesting. The only real clue is when she appears in the Curse of the Black Spot, does it seem like she's talking to Amy as if she's in labor? Maybe she's a "future echo" or something wibbly-wobbly like that. :P
@sgrib03 I think it's more than wishful thinking. I think it's a distinct possibility! I mean, the Doctor had years to think about how he was going to save her. No way he'd be content with just putting her in a computer!
@EmmaJaneMurdock aah, yes. The first time he meets her she must mean so much to him, so he goes back to the library and they'll both have done the same things and everything. I hope we are right haha! She is my favourite character now XD x
@EmmaJaneMurdock damn him! its quite weird with river song being amy and rorys daughter, but its a good twist though! after she said it i was like 'NOOO! dont end it now!!' haha x
@sgrib03 That's what I figured. It's the only thing that fits. And also, since the Doctor scanned her, he's known pretty much all this time. Mind-blowing. o.O
@EmmaJaneMurdock yes, and i had no clue! but imagine, waking up to find your pregnant and a scary looking woman with an eyepatch looking down at you o.O can't wait for the next episode, wont be able to watch it on saturday though, damn!
@EmmaJaneMurdock yes, exactly what I thought! Saturdays one looks really good aswell, with those really creepy faces o.O in the drs wife, i noticed that the eyepatch lady wasn't in it...i really have no clue who she is because it's quite random...a piece of the wall just hapening to open up and a lady with an eyepatch talking to you through it... haha!!! x
@sgrib03 Yeah, it was a little weird, but not as weird as it could have been. O.o But I love that whole scene; I thought both the writing and the acting on all sides was great. I love the way River gently scolds him, and how giddily happy the Doctor is when he realizes who she is. Can't wait til fall!
@EmmaJaneMurdock haha yes, good point ;D ill record it anyway XD we had a cliffhanger last week, now another one this week, whats stephen moffat trying to do to us!!! o.O
