This is a documentary of my first solo thru-hike attempt of the River to River Trail through Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. On day seven, I start near Panther Den Wilderness and hike through Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. Then, I pass by Giant City Lodge and Makanda, IL. Finally, I hit Lirley Trailhead and make camp on the Cedar Lake Spillway.
