Riviera Jomtien: Did we save the best for last? /

Stayed there before and it is very nice, we had a large 1 bed with seaview. The balconies are a good size by modern standards, the area was very well kept. Only 2 issues for us was a bit noisy as it’s right on 2nd road and at the back there is a dry boat yard which is noisy some times. The second issue is the ground floor garden pool is very nice but they need to get some pesticide spray as the bugs on the green areas are extensive. Finally be careful with a seaview, it’s great for a holiday, but for the longer term your balcony is in the blazing sun from midday until 6 pm which means your apartment gets hotter and you spend more on aircon. However overall it a great condo.

Definitely view units with multiple agents representing multiple owners. Then you can play them off each other to negotiate. I saw one unit I really liked. I asked the agent to check for a lower rate for a 3 year contract. He came back with a lower rate, but not the 3yr contract. I saw another room with a different agent, told them I saw another unit at the lower rate, and that I wanted the 3 yr contract. That owner was willing to to accept the lower rate AND the 3yr contract.

What a beautiful place! I like all the amenities and sitting areas they offer at least that gets you a chance to get out of your room. The walls of the small condo don’t close in on you. It’s nice that they put charging port in so an electric motorcycle or electric scooter would probably be adaptable for charging. I’m considering a Zero motorcycle they manufactured in Santa Cruz California. I understand there’s a distributor in Bangkok. I think of maintenance free electric motorcycle would be ideal for the area, I love the seating areas and the swimming pools, the gyms everything about this building! Thanks for showing Coop! I absolutely love dogs, but the owners they have barking dogs and that leave and go out for drinks or dinner, and let their dog bark all evening man I can’t stand that. Lol that’s who my neighbor would be that is absolutely who I would have. They would have a German Shepherd not just a lapdog! Hope people leave their dog at home with a family member. Or how about this train your dog not to bark?! I would have to pay for a month so I’d have an escape away from all the barking dogs.

Okay, I would love to stay at that place.

Is there any security there? That's one great thing that I liked about the Copacabana. Rivera is nice but for the $$ this doesn't compare to the Copacabana which is a new standard in condos in that area. You work hard to bring these videos to us THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION. 👍👏

Just out of curiosity, with any of these 1 month minimum rates (this place or others that do 1 month bookings), could you book and pay for the entire month even if you were only going to physically be there for 25 days or so? It may sound odd, but I'll probably do my first couple of trips for less than 30 day stays and it might be that the 1 month rate would be cheaper than the nightly/weekly rates at other places. I really like the amenities at this place, but I'm still working and probably wouldn't be able to stay a full 30 days.

Seems like the common areas of these beautiful condominium complexes are often so empty. Where are all the people? Is it too hot for them to be out and about? Keep up the good work Cooper. ps Just rented a detached house in the jungle near a waterfall across the street from the beach in Koh Pha Ngan for 8,000 Baht per month.

Every Thai channel I've seen says the electricity is "government rate" but nobody says what that means. Can you give a dollar amount to what the monthly electric bill would be generally if you used AC everyday all day, or just used a little bit. just a rough estimate

Get to the buffet across the street prior to the buses arriving loaded with Chinese tourists. Once they arrive it turns into a madhouse.😬

The 2-bed-room condo is very nice (good size, great balcony, reasonable layout), but for me personally does not have enough towel hangers .... 😄

Looks like some beds are very hard. This would be a good to know before choosing a condo.

Think im going to be reaching out for one of the smaller one bedrooms for a month next April-May as soon I get the dates locked in.

In Feb one couple rent 2bd 90sq meters for 50k per month -1year contract
